    I own both a 2005 AP2 s2000 and a 91 NSX. The s2000 is more fun and engaging to drive, but the NSX is more of an occasion to bring out and feels more special.

    The stock exhaust on my untuned Abarth sounds miles better than that Lotus. My wife who works early shift at 3am sometimes has to use the Abarth, neighbours be like 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

    The roads are full of speed traps and cameras these days, so the fun to be had is getting up to the speed limits as fast as possible, the Abarth does this with aplomb 🦂

    I am Dr. Sakamoto, an anesthesiologist from Japan. I attended Dr. Hadzic’s lecture at the Japanese Society of Anesthesiology. I’ve been following NYSORSA’s TH-cam channel for a while, and I also checked out DR BLUES. I was surprised to learn that Dr. Hadzic is a car enthusiast and owns a Honda S2000. Before becoming a physician, I was passionate about cars, and since becoming a doctor, I’ve owned three Honda Integra Type R cars. Currently, I drive a Subaru WRX STI. Like Dr. Hadzic, I enjoy driving sports cars on winding roads. When teaching nerve blocks to residents, just as Dr. Hadzic uses car analogies, I also explain physiology to trainees using comparisons to engine performance.

    Great video. On days that suit the top down, I’d drive the S2000, on all others, the NSX. I have a nice ap1 S2000, and it is the perfect top down sports car. Wind noise is low compared to other convertibles and t-top sports cars I’ve driven, and the climate control really is great even with the top down. And the top goes up or down easily and quickly in only six seconds!

    By far, this is the best unit I've owned for street combined with a bit a track use. After going through all the other competing brands, this is the best sounding exhaust without the obnoxious droning. There's a subtle deep purr from low to mid rpms, but she really opens up when that vtec kicks in, y0!

    Sir your handling of the steering wheel is soo so bad, if the car slips you will die in 2 seconds. Also there is no rev matching when you put a car in a lower gear, that is terrible for the transmission and the clutch too in general. I kindly suggest to you that go to a driving course with a professional driver and learn these before you make a car show. Also I feel pity of your carz in general no offence. I ve had an NA2 S2000 for 11 yrs and now I have an NA1 Nsx full TypeR spec suspension. on windy roads these cars are nearly equals on track the NSX is better. I speak of my own epxerience, but NSX is a better car overall, and S2000 is a more modern car which is much safer to drive and can handle a big amount of abuse without any problem, but it is good intentioned towards the driver unlike the NSX which kills you in 2 seconds of you make a mistake. That is why I love the NSX more, as it pushes you to get better and focus on driving a 100%. You are terribly slow in turns.. NSX value is curve speed..

    The freeway that goes through my state has a speed limit of 80 mph or around 130 kph (although a lot of people seem to drive a bit faster) which is good for a spirited drive. It's no autobahn but it can still be fun!

    S2K for the win. All maintenance items available at local auto parts and maintenance is super easy and low cost. Great gas mileage and awesome Japanese engineering.

    ok back in 1991 my friend bought a 1991 brand new NSX, and let me tell you, in this video, the NSX driver is not experienced on twisty's, or just having fun, one thing great about the NSX is its handling, wow!! for a fact, NSX when taking a sharp turn, it doesn't skid or slide, it hop's...then goes..lol..loved that car..

      Have you driven an S2000? I own one and drive in group meet ups. Last week I was filling a 97 NSX. It’s mostly a drivers race as they say but the NSX driver also owns an S2000. He says the S2000 is faster through tight hairpins.

    Two Real Viscéral Driving Machines but two different ways to enjoy. Lotus more for the performances et agility without compromise on short road trips ( day or weekend) and low confort. Honda more to enjoy twisty roads on day, weekend and medium long trips accros contries, with decent trunck and confort. Owner of a Honda S2K AP1 phase 2 just baack from a 2500 km trip

    Both cars are amazing and the s2000 is one of my favorites, but it would be hard to beat the elise, considering its size and power. I still think the lotus esprit is absolutely awesome as well despite the maintenance horror stories you hear about them.

    If the Tanabe is too expensive the UK S2000 exhaust mod achieves the same result more or less. No change at idle, small difference below VTEC engagement but a noticeable one after...

    The s2000 gears are shorter so more shifts/fun. The NSX has longer gears. 2nd gear on the nsx can reach 80mph.

    Amazing video! However, you never seem to be driving the S2000 at it's limit. It appears you are always keeping a certain distance between the two cars. A bit too much time holding the shift knob and not keeping two hands on the wheel, tells me you are not driving at your limit either. Regardless, I think both cars are, and sound, awesome. I would chose the NSX, since I've owned my fair share of 2-seater convertibles over the years, and pop-up headlights are just so cool!

    I have the S2K because all my friends Elises leaked amongst other difficult reliability and quality issues. It's more special than the Honda, but I don't regret choosing the more versatile yet still plenty visceral car. The Elises were 2-3 year ownerships, I've had my AP2 for a decade.
