@dwigley1977 I'm told that they gave up on the rope. They were ringing it once from the cupboard and the wheel.... the people on the wheel noticed that it became easier to ring at the very point that the rope slipped off the pulley wheel and the three pullers in the cupboard gave up!
Are those guys even deaf ?

@dwigley1977 well I was alwaays told by someone damage can be caused. I wasn't so advanced in understanding bells as I am now, or how the heavy bells are hard to move. thanks for the correction and info though. ;)
wheres the rope? you ring bells with a rope not by tuning the wheel with your hands, as this can cause damage to the bell and headstock and so on.

We need to clean the top of that headstock. It is turning green!
