i am trying to find a video that shows you, when you make a header, how do you adjust the amount of space it takes up so you can start typing right underneath of it? My header makes a space of about 4 lines that I NEED on my first page for the data i need on the page. thank you

Thank you!!! I have been searching forever to try to figure this out and your video unlocked it for me. I started my logo on Canva and added some overlapping shapes that I wanted to be cutouts of the main design. When I exported from that original logo project and selected transparent background, the overlayed elements still showed up in their original color (instead of transparent). Following your video, I took that exported image, imported into a new canvas, used the magic background eraser, and the cutout sections were actually removed! Thank you thank you thank you!!

I was losing my mind a few minutes ago on Canva, thanks for the tips, feeling zen now!

First of all, we have the Pro accunt with Canva and today is July 16, 2024 and I do NOT see that Link option on the screen anywhere. I want to make a gofundme link clickable. Have design made and downloaed and pdf standard but like I said, was not able to see the LINK icon on screen by the transparency button? Therefore my post, do not have a clickable link :(

Instructions start at 6:12. I have got my vector art but it didn't come into canva as editable colours. My illustrator file is grouped and outlined vector art. What am i doing wrong?

I’ve been doing this for weeks 😂 cleaning it up is so much work it’s great advice to just start from where it will need to be and upload from those files also if you need to add you specific elements for that project.

06:10 I have been clicking around so many different tutorials for uploading your own editable designs to Canva for so long trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Yours was the first to mention to the stroke to fill requirement! As a 100% self taught artist I know there’s a lot of little tidbits that I’m missing out on and it’s so frustrating when I can’t find these finicky little details that everyone assumes everyone already knows. Thank you so much for making an actually accessible tutorial!

I REALLY WISH Canva would just let me use TABLES to set the # of rows for however many lines I need ...AND let me squish the table even smaller. It stops at a certain point and is still too chunky. if I have smaller text inside a cell it's not reducing down. I think typing text within a cell forces the cell to keep this "padding" space around the text so it won't go smaller. Wish it could though! Would be so much faster to use Tables as a way to just set the # of lines and the spacing by dragging all and moving around the screen

How did you create it to be thinner than the typical Canva headers? I've tried Resizing to 1600 x 400, but it still takes up a significant part of the page, rather than just the stripe you have.

When you get to your screen in Canva, you show a blank canvas that is dark or black. Your video would have been more helpful if you would have demonstrated how to do that rather than assuming that your viewers already know how to do that.

I was watching your video on branding and you mentioned you made a folder video. I spent an hour or so setting up folders last night - game changer! Thank goodness I learned about this after only using canva for 6 months vs 6 years lol tyty!!
