I wonder how you feel like Spear and it is gonna compete as a DPS option by any means
I didn't get much time to play during the spear beta but my initial thoughts are that it seems to play well with tempest. I could see spear being better against hyper mobile groups or for users who struggle with meteor shower placement. Ultimately I believe staff will remain king for catalyst, the amount of modifiers combined with double meteor shower is too insane.

@@pellojello7612 What quickness spec would you prefer be in your party?
@@frankmills1917 Don't really matter, this build operates on the outer edges an doesn't truly need a party. But having stab and a heal source def makes it easier.
This must be old though. Elemental Celerity no longer fully resets meteor cd, I don't believe. Decreases it a lot but I think nowadays u still have to wait like 5 secs for it to come off cd. Though maybe with alac its still fully reset?
Nah it's current. They updated Elemental Celerity to only recharge 25 seconds. Meteor shower is 30 second cd UNLESS you take fire trait line which reduces cooldown to 24 seconds.
@@pellojello7612 oh. Interesting. I guess I just haven't tried it out in a while. Whenever I play Cata spec nowadays I usually play hammer or D/D and more cele/support then full on power.
