He wanted to kill the 2c Teach as would keep giving Doffy free DON!! value, he used 8c Rayleigh most optimally in my opinion as he still cleared Law and Weevil

@@dengdid9948 I considered the 8c, but in my head I think I needed to hit redhawk off the draw or i pretty much lose anyways. I was pretty tilted after r1, and seeing no 2ks wasnt helping this round either, and I think it clouded my decisions. I probably should've gone to 0, if he has femur then he has femur it is what it is

@@DragoATXhe trashed a femur in his final attack, unless you were expecting a second femur, but even if u went to 0, you still would’ve lost bc he had 5k counter in hand and one of his lives was a 2k so he could’ve countered out, unlucky game for u man

Was thinking the same - taking the last hit intentionally to roger next turn and go with leader 5k, yasopp 6 k, reyleygh 6k, 2 x reyleygh 8, roger 13k. Didn't see the handsize tho of the doffy player.

@@Syhiam Rayleigh way too slow vs Lucci (or smoker/boa, control decks). You pop basically nothing, get no pressure/swing value the pop it back while establishing a moira+rebecca/lucci or even just a jack and you are super behind

And Why ace ? Because he can’t be ko by effect ?

@@Syhiamyeah basically, opponent would have to pop ace again just to get rid of him or waste popping him and leave him on board to continue pressuring with attacks.

@@wasilij_10 yes, but i normally wouldn't actually play sanji vs BY. but as you can see i had nothing better to do but use him. aggro them to 2 while building board. if they dont play blockers by our 8/10 don turn (or if our board is big enough) dragon pressure crumbles them

@ I tend to starve them and build board, but I’ll try and be more aggressive

@@AwKeyPooh Usually use Yookeer deckboxes from amazon, then dragon shield clear inner sleeves, black matte dragon shield sleeves for my cards themselves

@@joker070 rarely, and the few times I have it wasnt a day I recorded. Goal is to get both leaders to 2 life and force them to raigo/force awaken themselves while you build a board. Keeping dragon in hand is key as well.

@@Tyler-bd6vk Honestly this list and my old list feel incredibly similar, but 7c Newgate specifically has over performed but I would keep him at 2. there are times I wish I had 4 rayleigh, but roux at 3 makes so much sense with the rise of lucci/Betty/and enel

@@EustassKid87 roger too good of a win condition, and we usually cant play more than 2 shanks back to back super safely/its overkill. 8c Rayleigh way more important into MUs like Doffy/Pluffy/Bonney then 10c Shanks

not as bad as me on my first day playing shanks and the optcg as a whole... I got their life down to 0 but didnt realize uta deck had 2 blockers on the field, I went at leader for 18k hit and got blocked and lost right after xD
