So much of life is spent looking forward to the next big event, or in the aftermath of a defining moment, but God also moves mightily in the the in-between moments. He cares what we do in the middle.

What if the abuser remarried? That's committing adultery, shouldn't that free the wife from any spiritual attachment/ covenant?

The underlying problem with the Christian view of marriage is that Christianity has made an idol out of marriage. The Bible has a lot to say about idolatry, none of it good.

I put a divorce into motion when my so called biblical, so called Godly, so called Bible believing toxic narcissistic wife disappeared on disabled little ole me. I do not have video proof that she cheated on me, but she moved in with some people and toward the end, before she left, having men over to my house for her supposedly male friends for fellowship

You can leave a person who is abusive but cannot divorce or live with another. Very hard to do. but God allows. If adultery takes place you can devoted and remarry.

A spouse can abandon the other and yet still live under the same roof. If the husband will not financially support his wife and children but makes his wife support herself he has abandoned her. If the husband will not protect his wife and children, even if he is living in the same house, he has abandoned them. If either spouse does not give conjugal relations to the other they have abandoned them. Conjugal relations is not just sex. It is love and companionship. No woman wants sex from a man who will not love her and be her close companion. Many times a husband will complain the wife will not perform her duty to give him sex. Sometimes she does not because his actions push her away.

Very interesting perspective, but can I add that in my opinion other forms of abuse can also be grounds for divorce, as was in my own case. I am now remarried, but only after years of processing and healing. God is still my everything, even in my marriage, He comes first. Many people do not take the time they need for their healing journey. I was very happy as a single person but God had another plan. I am now a carer as he is much older than me, but i do not regret the path i have taken as God has opened up wonderful opportunities for me over the years, and still does. When we give our past and our plans to God he uses it all. He is the healer of broken hearts.

Actually no its not. You can legally seperate & only thing I see allowed for divorce is infidelity. Jesus also said if you marry a divorced person you are committing adultery. So are you going to compromise our Lord's word???

What I got from your explanation of God hates 'divorce', (really appreciate your explanation here) is, God hates covenant breakers. So, following through, a spouse who abuses/ abandons, is the divorcer...which God hates...if that makes sense.

Is religious cult biblical ground for you to leave? Marriage is supposed to potray God-man relationship which is love and submission. Outside that abuse is like religion putting people in bondage. Come out of it says the Lord.

I enjoyed your video. Side note: Try Soyrizo. It is meatless, not too spicy but has the flavor of the spices. I don't like spicy food, but I like Soyrizo. I like it used sparingly, such as in scrambled eggs. I've never eaten it plain. It is delicious when used in spaghetti sauce.

That also goes to the churches, congregations, ministeries, christians, families, who committ sexual immorality offences with children, minors, and also women, and men, along with crimes, and covered them up with lies, deceit, deception, irresponsibiity and the list goes on.....they already divorced God and the covenant of life and broke trust. They already divorced love, and their marriage covenant with reality and truth and they divorced peace, and chose evil. Also the nations that support abuse, violence, corruption, and severed and cut themselves also off from the community, or had to force others into persecution and exile, abandonment, excommunication and shunning, when it was never God's will. The leaving, is the departing, which is death, destruction and the delivering up to satan, or evil, or death, so the soul may be saved. The sacrificed lamb.

Thank God your video came up on TH-cam My daughter was in a very abuse marriage mentally she was drained and lost her health but church advised her not to separate or divorce because it’s a sin (God hates divorce)but being called stupid and fat and whole other names it wasn’t ☹️ After 5 years of abuse finally she divorced and remarried with a God sent man who appreciate her and love her very much and God bless them with a beautiful child! I don’t encourage divorce but please don’t stay in a abusive marriage it will destroy you in every way Be blessed!!

Have you ever noticed that one of the most discussed items is divorce? Not discussions on murder, adultery, cheating, stealing, etc. There is so much confusion about divorce and God is not confusion. The underlying confusion is generated from the definition of “the husband of one wife”. God has zero confusion in His Word and God did use the word “divorced” when it applied. The confusion comes from the Pharisee view of self-righteous MEN, who misinterpret God’s Word, in violation of His own demand for you to forgive old man sins. Imagine you hear “ I know you not because you were a stumbling block for my children”, referencing Revelation 22:18-19. God forgive after repentance and rebirth, man condemns outside of God’s commandment.

I have lost a few friends to suicide. As they couldn't live with all the righteous judgment, neither there husbands emotional abuse. People that have not experienced emotional abuse, please stop telling others they should have done more. By the time they kill themselves, they have depleted their ability to submission to their husbands, They have judged themselves to a point of despair.

I'll give an example: A young women marries an older man who wants a family. They have 3 children, each less than two years apart. She goes thru postpartum depression with the 3rd child just before Covid shutdowns began. She started drinking alcohol to cope. They were divorced a year later. Makes me think....no judgement but seeking God's best for all parties. What about God's mercy and the wife's recovery? I understand that every individual story is to be respected and needs the ministry of the Holy Spirit in Jesus' name.

I see in the Christian church there is an agreement for divorcing any spouse who is abusive, an abandonment of the marriage by an unbeliever, addictions, etc. The area that remains hotly debated is the question of re-marriage.

You’re missing the scripture where Moses granted divorce due to the hardening of your heart. The hardening of the heart was a man’s violence towards his wife. The Bible grants a divorce on these grounds meaning you are free to remarry.
