Thank you for your videos Jim. I'm 77 and looking at Nimble 20s as my final boat for day sails in the gulf of Mexico. I would like to see some overall information about your project and about the boat. Obviously you are finding things to restore/repair and it would be a great resource for new owners to learn what to look for.
Hi Dave I'll do a overview at some point. I'm pretty familiar with the boat at this time, in general I'm well satisfied. All manufacturers do stubid to various degrees but nothing to bad.. I'd say the boat held up well considering her age. Centerboards a problem beyond the standard old boat stuff but they are always a problem, but worth it in my opinion. I took this boat apart well beyond what was necessary but I sometimes think its easier. There's no erasing 30 +years completely but in some ways she will be better than she ever was. Regards Jim
