    Hello, Mark. I have purchased some used running boards for my 2017 XD Titan pro x. The original owner cut the wires off the lights on the running boards. I then ordered the needed wire harness needed to install the lights part numbers T99F6-4RAOA. Then i ran into your video and saw you speaking about the control module. I have searched every where for this module and no luck of finding it. So i then ordered the complete light kit from Nissan part number 999T6-W3399 hoping the module was included, no luck and a waste of $346 DOLLARS. Any idea where i can order the control module? Thank you,

    • @hamradioadventures8856
      @hamradioadventures8856 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The control module came with the light kit. There should be a parts list with your kit. It's listed on that.

    Hey Mark, I am wanting to run these same accessory wiring harnesses with some illuminating door sills. I need the sill to illuminate when door is opened and turn off when door is closed for each of the 4 doors. Are there wires within the harness that you can tap into to achieve this? Your video is very helpful btw and I appreciate the time and effort you put in on it.

    • @ntsysop1
      @ntsysop1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Steve. I do believe that the accessory connector that is used to install the running board lights also has the wiring for the door jamb installation. I'll look over the wiring diagram and let you know. Give me a couple of days.

      @ntsysop1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! The accessory connector has the wires for both the running boards and the kick plate illumination. When you buy the OEM kick plate lights, the proper color code of the appropriate wires will be included in the instructions.

    Mark...I just purchased a 2019 Titan XD SV Crew Cab (long bed). It came with the running boards, but like you, I too wanted the lighting kit for it installed. I purchased the kit to install myself. The instructions seemed to be lacking some important details, so I thought I'd search online to see if someone recorded a video of the install. I luckily found your video, which helped confirm that I was doing the installation correctly. Your video answered a few questions that I had. It's gotten dark outside, so I'm going to finish the installation in the morning. I don't expect to run into any issues. I will be using the factory connectors as well, which I ordered with the LED kit. I wanted to thank you so much for taking the time to record your excellent video. I know it added much more time to your install, but I greatly appreciate you doing that. I certainly benefited from your efforts. Glad it worked-out for you on the first try as well. I hope I have the same luck! And you were right...those plastic step pads were crazy hard to remove! I'm not quite sure why they designed it like that. If you ever scraped-up one of the end caps and wanted to replace it (if it's even available to buy), you'd also have to replace the step pad, because you would demolish it getting it off to gain access to the T30 torx screws that fasten the end caps onto the running boards! : )

    • @ntsysop1
      @ntsysop1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the thanks! With the factory accessory connectors you should be good to go. You are right, the hardest part was pulling the plastic cover off the running board. My install was almost a year ago and the LEDs are working perfectly. Enjoy yours and let me know if you had an issue at all.
