Quem era aquele de.bigode de Charles Chaplin na beira do.ringue
What a weird point system. A cheap ankle lock attempt is 3 points and a guard pass is only one.
Cómo o Paulão era top. Jiu jitsu apretado pra caramba, inspirou muita gente! Forte abraço Paulão, sempre na sua torcida!
Obrigado!
I would have liked to see Ralek fight more in Mma
Master Gracie, (FYI) The Gracie family is not, and has never been, associated with unethical or malevolent behavior. Their training programs are primarily designed to prepare students for competitive environments. However, they also offer private lessons for those interested in Combat Jiu-Jitsu. Advanced classes and specialized material are reserved for advanced students whom the Gracies deem ethically and morally prepared to uphold the traditions and responsibilities of martial artists. This includes refraining from disrespecting their esteemed and venerated instructors. Having known Relson personally for decades, and having trained with Royce during his prime in the UFC, I can attest to their character. I have attended numerous gatherings at their homes, including UFC-related events, and have interacted with their families extensively. My experiences extend to knowing Rickson, Rorion, and other members of the Gracie family since the early 1990s. At no point have I ever witnessed or experienced any behavior from the Gracies that could be construed as hazing or unethical in any form. To my knowledge, the Gracies are sincere individuals, many of whom are deeply religious and committed to their faith. It is important to approach discussions about others with respect and integrity. Spreading falsehoods can lead to negative repercussions, both in reputation and in spiritual harmony. Speaking ill of others in public settings often results in regret and unnecessary conflict. Upholding honor, tradition, and respect is the true path of the martial artist. = facebook.com/reel/1169948927874461
Above all the Gracies, I knew Relson the most. I can speak to his profound sense of duty and honor. One evening, after a Combat Jiu-Jitsu class, Relson shared with us a lesson on ethics, morals, and values. He recounted an experience from his younger days in Brazil, at a football game where passions ran high. As often happens in such intense environments, a brawl broke out. Relson noticed a friend in distress, being beaten down, and instinctively stepped in to defend him. As he moved to help, someone attempted to blindside him with a dropkick aimed at his lower spine. Relson later reflected that if he hadn’t acted to protect his friend at that critical moment, he might have been the one gravely injured. The lesson he imparted that night wasn’t about avoiding conflict at all costs. Instead, it was about standing firm and doing the right thing, even in the most challenging and dangerous moments of life. I do not “worship” my instructors. I choose them thoughtfully, based on their character and values. Once chosen, I strive to bring honor to them, to our dojo, and to everyone whose lives our dojo touches. Honor is never given freely; it is earned through trials and often amidst the worst of troubles. It is vital to understand that cultural perspectives shape moral codes. The Brazilian sense of ethics, deeply rooted in their context and traditions, differs from the American perspective. Similarly, the Japanese Code of Bushido offers yet another distinct framework. Having spent much of my life learning from all these traditions, I have come to see that despite their differences, they share a common foundation of integrity, respect, and accountability. And this is my message for you: An American Christian Perspective Gamaliel, a revered teacher of Jewish law, was the mentor of Saul of Tarsus (later known as the Apostle Paul), as referenced in Acts 22:3. His wisdom is most famously displayed in Acts 5:34-39, during a pivotal moment in the early Christian church. The apostles had been arrested and brought before the Sanhedrin for preaching about Jesus. The council, enraged, sought to execute them. Gamaliel, known for his wisdom and moderation, stood up and ordered the apostles to be removed from the room. Addressing the council, he cautioned them to deliberate carefully before taking irreversible action. He reminded them of previous movements led by Theudas and Judas the Galilean, both of which collapsed after their leaders were killed. He argued that if the apostles’ mission was of human origin, it would fail naturally. But if it was of God, they would not be able to stop it-and opposing them would mean fighting against God Himself. The council heeded Gamaliel’s advice, choosing to refrain from execution. Instead, the apostles were flogged and released. Gamaliel’s intervention is seen as a turning point, preventing greater persecution of the early Christian movement. Do not persecute other people. If God supports them, no human can stop them. If God does not support them, then their works, and your time will be as dust in the wind. In Conclusion Honor resides along the Path of Truth, but that path is often beset by distractions and darkened by the shadows of ignorance. Compassion, as the Light of Altruism, shines brightest and proves most valuable during the darkest times.
why was the wrestler voluntarily putting himself on bottom when points counted?

Only scoring 1 point for that semi gaeshi in round 2 a bit crap ….that on a concrete floor would have been a really heavy throw …

WHAT A POS referee!! How can he interfere in the middle of a submission hold like that. Wow! Can't the Gracies beat Sakuraba in a legit way?? We all know the answer is NO. Gracies juicing up, Gracies paying off refs, Gracies changing the rules. Is there anything repugnant that the Gracies won't do for a fake "W"??
This fight doesn’t count because sakuraba is past his prime
