Is the Legitimate Beef Pedal Actually Legit?
In this review/demo, I'm putting the Legitimate Beef through a Legitimate Guitar and seeing how it sounds. This pedal was made my Chicago Stompworks. Do you think this pedal sounds like sizzle or like a steak? Heavy riffs, clean tones, humbuckers and single coils coming up.

Real Tubes, Real Tone, Real Hype? BK Butler Pedal Demo That’ll Melt Your Ears!
มุมมอง 28714 วันที่ผ่านมา
The BK Butler Real Tubes pedal promises all the vintage tube tone you can handle in a tiny box that doesn’t need to warm up for 15 minutes. But does it really deliver, or is it just here to gaslight us into thinking we sound like Clapton? In this demo, I’ll crank it, chug it, and shred it to find out if this legendary pedal lives up to the hype-or if it’s just a glorified box. Spoiler alert: it...

Cheers dude. Absolutely.
Three or four? Relax, I got bills!
Haha, yeah it’s definitely a pricey hobby!
Try with Jason mask on 👹
Haha I wish! It’s actually a light and not a mask. But that would have been cool.
It would be nice to let beginning guitarists know what your tuning is...!!!✌
Sorry brother! Half step down!
@riffwithcliff Thank you for your quick response! I have been playing guitar for over 30 years and it's just a pet peve...🤗 It was a good lesson!
@ appreciate you so much for the kind words. Glad it helped!
That is A Phrygian mate....
Cool thanks for pointing that out. It is super fun to explore. Appreciate you!
I've got an Oxblood and a Blues Disorder already, might be fun to give a hotter Keeley a shot.
Yeah for sure. This pedal I found super hot. Even at the lowest level!
Is that a ZOOT SUIT SG???? I was obsessed with those back in the day
Haha yes! It is an awesome guitar and I also have that obsession.
Just call it a diminished chord without the 3rd.
Cliff love your lessons. Keep them coming!
Will keep them coming!
That is probably the coolest guitar I've seen. And I've seen alot of cool guitars AND im really not an sg guy. 🤘
Haha appreciate you dude!
Catholics are so silly aren’t they.
Killer!
It’s an awesome pedal dude
Thanks, man... fellow apollo user... and that feedback loop was pissin me off 🙌
Glad it could help dude. It had pissed me off too until I figured it out.
I do think it's good for amp manufacturers to include DAW-compatible/direct-recording features like the Boss Katana (Blackstar has that with their new amps as well as their own cab/mic sims included). I'd really like to play one of new small ENGL amps with this feature!
Me too. When I jam at my drummer's we plug the Boss Katana straight into protools and record the practice session.
I had the Tubeworks MosValve 1600 SS Power amps, went through two in the 90s. Had the old and updated version. This would probably pair well with those 1600 Power amps, gain and presence control stereo
That is awesome! The stuff sounds great!
love
Nice video! Sounds great! I think Eric Johnson uses these BK Butler Real Tube pedals
You are right! He uses them. I think Billy Gibbons too.
The tone around 6:13 is cool but I actually like what I heard with the Tele more. I’d like to hear this would either an overdrive in front or using this pedal as an OD with the high gain channel
Yeah man it would be cool to stack them. I need to start breaking out the tele more for these demos!
love!!!!!
Rock on dude!
Awesome Rick, Keep it up!!
Thanks you too!
Mine plaing r&b
It’s got good taste at least.
I called this a triad when I should have called it a tritone! My bad y'all. Still hope this exercise helps you rockers! 😵
Voivod used tritones a lot.
I own a 1993 custom shop Explorer. It has an 8 digit S/N and a custom shop water slide decal on the back of the headstock. I purchased it new. I have seen videos that say the serial numbers start with CS, but maybe they started that at a later date.
It's not a triad dude
Bro, I think you are on to something with that "Girl what that booty do" riff, and it ought to be fleshed out into a full length song
Haha, you’re right! ‘Girl, What That Booty Do’ is about to drop with an epic bridge that goes straight into a face-melting solo
@riffwithcliff okay, subscribed, I will stay tuned...
@@EpiphoneAP haha thanks dude!
its called a "tritone", not a triad
Great exercise, but I think this video should warrant a bit of careful proofreading. Calling an interval a "fourth" implies "perfect fourth". I think it would be clearer to say: augmented 4th, diminished 5th, flat five, or tritone. I'm kind of assuming you meant tritone, not triad, in the title.
Thanks for pointing that out. I'm still learning the ins and outs of theory and don’t always know the correct wordage lol, so appreciate the feedback!
Hey @Riff With Cliff - Are you still a gigging musician? I'd love to see more of that if so!
Not gigging as much right now. Just had a newborn baby taking up my nights but hopefully will be gigging again by mid year and back into the grooves. I’d love to do some videos on the gigging life. Will keep it in mind and thanks for the feedback!
❤wow now I know how you feel shoot
Haha it be like that sometimes
Flat 5th?
Alright well im already obsessed with S197 Mustang cars and have played guitar for years sooooo maybe i oughtta get a fender mustang 😅
You should. That’s the right way to look at it.
I had one in powder blue;
Awesome dude, I bet it was a killer guitar. I’ve only seen the blue one once.
Glad you’re throwing in some industry news and gear! That’s cool about the new studio!
Cool lesson man, and I have that same shirt. Oh, and do I see a Kemper back there?
Been using the Kemper a lot
awesome sauce!
Oh yeah!
Awesome video Cliff! Can’t wait for the studio and keep up the content. Look forward to 2025 on your channel!
Thanks dude, I appreciate that!
Listen to zack person , he got it on his pedalboard.
Awesome I’ll check that out. It’s a killer pedal.
love it!
Thanks dude 🤘
what a big piece of crap
😢 harsh!
Great collection!!! And all the best to you and you family for the new year 🎉
Thank you and back at ya!
I changed mine a few days ago. The resonance is amazing
I own a natural and black Zoot that my wife brought for me for me on clearance for 750 Aussie dollars coz nobody wanted them when they were released. I thought the price of them would rise as the look and design of them were so polarising, kinda like the original Gibson Flying V’s that are now worth a small fortune. It is heavy as hell but I’m originally a bass player so I don’t mind the weight so much. Also I’d never sell it coz it’s such an awesome beast that sustains for days and I love the hotter than hell pickups
That’s awesome dude. Hold onto that guitar forever!!
Fantastic all around. Thanks 👍
Rock on
I think they’re awesome. I would own one
And I hope you get one one day. They are awesome dude!
Just put some slow in the dark shit on your normally priced pickups…
Now you’re talkin!
That’s a killer riff man! That 3rd part is definitely evil sounding! Great lesson 🤘
Thanks man! I appreciate you.
