Saw this on BBC Many Years ago and was enchanted. Lovely to see this Clip here I could not fault any of the Singers.

I love Sona, she is a great Artist and she has had a long career, I heard her sing last year and she has lost none of the magic!!

The best performance of Elisir ever, I can never listen to any other soprano in this role as Sona made this part her own, and Sir Geriant was pretty good too...but why on earth has this never been issued commercially?

This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful songs ever written, and here it is beautifully sung, orchestrated and accompanied. I feel sad thinking that so many young people may never know this song and perhaps never truly relate to the emotions it conveys.

Excellent voice and performance. Dear Sona, my vocal teacher, who has been an opera singer for 20 years, says that my voice is very much like yours. Your voice is similar to Gasparian's as well.

@humangeorge Ratings are disabled, because this soprano has always had very envious "colleagues" . They almost collapsed under her success. I have most times have had the luck to attend several of her performances during any congress I had in Europe. They were glorious and triumphal ! The publics adore her ! Besides some low-profile and ignorant YTubers do not understand what ART is all about !
