Hello. I disagree with you that something like this would fixate cats on birds as prey any more than they are naturally set up to. Plus, the name Cat TV is quite an exaggeration, I think, and if any cat is "watching" it, it's going to be a cat who's been cooped up in a house all her life and her owner is playing this to keep her "bored". I live in a village and my cat, who watches the editing of these videos now and then, even if she manages to climb onto the bird feeder occasionally, she lies down on it (a metre and a half from where the birds are coming in) and watches them fly onto the feeder and doesn't even think to attack the birds. Yes, once a year, she catches a bird in the garden, unfortunately... But usually I manage to save it. Of course, there is a problem with bird decline in the countryside, and a big one, but that's because of overpopulated, homeless, wandering cats who have a permanent tendency to grab some prey to eat. And yes we humans are to blame for this with our irresponsible attitude. People who want to have cats but refuse to neuter them and then don't know what to do with the kittens.
