I’m my area if a student has to cross, the driver has to get out with a stop sign and then signal the student to cross.

I do it different way: 200 feet before, turn inner schoolers/warning lights on Don't pull over. Stop in the driving/traveling portion of the road Crack the door Secure the bus Open the door Kids gone Close the door Check danger zone Lights off Go
