Great reaction💯 I loved your honest non bias opinion. A lot of reactors either hype it up too much or hate on her the entire album. Im glad she stepped out of her comfort zone and used different sounds and leaned deeper into her anime and southern bag but i feel like she leaned too deep in the sexually confident bag if that makes sense. Some of the songs especially at the end could have been scrapped and that would’ve left more interest in her new mixtape that’s coming out this year. I would love to see Billie, doja or even Ariana grande on this album but hopefully no pop songs. She’s good at doing verses on pop songs but her hard southern tone is not sonically pleasing on a pop aspect compared to dojas singing voice. Megan has good r&b tracks though. Doechii is seriously tough. If ice spice wasn’t so overrated I’d say she would have been even more popular. She’s actually talented and she knows how to make old school hip hop boom bap tracks and party songs that you could twerk too. Not all of her music is for mainstream appeal and that’s what makes her so different. She can be feminine and still keep her composure in a way that can keep people focused on her music and not just her ass.

I’m happy she got her lick back at ice spice but having a beef with a rapper like ice spice is not a good look on her. I also wish she came harder lyrically because in her song shoutout to me she was definitely taking shots at Nicki Minaj and if you’re gonna sub diss her you gotta bring it because that women is a lyrical genius.

Latto is definitely talented af. I like how she used her alter ego big mama on this record. I feel like the reason why people call her boring is because she doesn't have a lot of shock value worthy moments. Doja had her controversy about the devil worshipping drama and Megan had her controversy with Nicki Minaj and Tory lanez. Each of them bring something refreshing to the table when it comes to passion of making music videos that are artistic and being talented rappers. I also wish she had T.I, 2chainz, Usher, or future on this album or even in a music video for the hype and the theme. Although i’m happy she got rappers from the south to be on her album and I hope she accomplishes great things in her music career.

I understand it’s your opinion. But lyrically latto is not better than megan. I do think latto had a more better sounding and formulated album but i feel like her, latto and doja are all creative in their own rights. Your biased is showing because tory is actually guilty. You don’t have to listen to her album but i feel like you shouldn't let the controversy get in the way of her skill and by the way she switched her flow up in multiple songs in the album. Not every female rapper has to change their voices. Cadence and flow are two different things.

My Life is Sean and Ellie's fourth "collab". He sampled her on High (2011) and You Don't Know (2013). Then he featured on her song Easy Lover (2022). Would be interested in seeing a reaction to any you haven't heard. 👀
