What's "piece of toast" mean?
K'moia was referring to the symbol on her dice. Though the system uses standard 6 sided dice, the numbers have different features. The company that makes the game also sell themed dice for their different franchises of games that use the same system. She didn't know what that symbol on the die meant, as they were loaned by Morse.

USS Magellan, I believe. I just re-watched Episode 1, and David said it in the first minute, but it was quick.
I enjoyed watching, but I think the main issue with most new players play-thru is they are so used to other RPGs (namely D&D), they play the game the same way, and the GM GMs star trek like it's D&D. If you come at it without any of those preconceived notions, it's a lot easier

really enjoyed this episode!
So the green screen is more flakey than usual because we turned off the bright lights and the sound is from an extra fan being on. We're still working out how to play in an upper floor and not melt.
Really enjoyed listening to all the heavy breathing, coughing and disgusting sorting... other than that, it was a decent play through.
We know that the audio is mute at the start. We were eventually told by a viewer that we forgot to activate the microphone at 19:57. Really embarrassing.

Also, the TDI system works via an inferred camera and inferred ink like you guys said, you can read that right on the Golem Arcana website. No magnets or anything fancy. It runs on Bluetooth4LE (low energy) so it doesn't use a lot of battery. Also, you can't make copies of cards, your printer doesn't have inferred ink :)
The game totally still works. I got into it well after it became unsupported. I have pretty much every figure and it just gets more fun! Also, you can get more map tiles. I personally bought a 10" Amazon Fire Tablet to play on. Works like a charm. I normally build my armies on my phone because it's convenient and they show up on my tablet. So obviously the cloud is still running. Custom maps are not stored to the cloud though, so make sure you build them on the device you will be playing on.
Thanks for the info! If we can find some more accessories for good prices, we might keep playing.

i would appreciate any specific advice you might have as to get this app up and running on the android ios. it seems you have stumbled across an oddity of sorts, as most available literature online says that due this game no longer being supporte, that it wont work, because when you download the app for the first time it automaticaly prompts itself to download an update, trouble is the server hosting the data for the update no longer exists, so i am not quite sure ho you have it running, unless you had the game and the app around the time it came out and when it actually was supported. any help would be much appreciated. thanks
@@majorswizzbee1157 We played on a Nexus 6 running marshmallow, because the iOS version did what you described. Also, it was just the starter box, and the tutorial levels, so it may not work with expansions or custom content.
So, and I'm sorry for all the questions, but even if u got the game to work, where did your tablet receive the information in order to play this game? It doesnt come come pre-installed, and it doesnt come with the app, the information is only avaliable for download from a server that no longer exists. I believe you that it works, I just can't explain how you got it to work. My only possible explanation is that you had a copy of this app on that device when the server was still running and the app is an updated version of it, and all u had to do was turn on ur device that already had it,on there. Like, I can't c this being the first time this was played in 2018. Again sorry for the long windedness, but this is kiilllllin me, but still i am no closer to playing, so im just tryna figure this bad boy out

only got this game second hand recently and I'm in love with it (not litterally😆) I'm hooked in finding the dna canisters for deathmatch. I use to play this when I was a kid with my mates after school at their place. this game only cost me $2.50 AUD at our local second hand electronics store

Im still playing this game today. This game is just legendary squad DM and all its great. Good to see people like you guys play games like this assuming that you werent just stuck with it. If you still play this game, you should (if you havent already) you guys should get all of the dna canister from campaign and do some squad dm against eachother. Would be LEGENDARY. Anyways nice to see you guys play some good original xbox classics :)
