it seems that as long as the employer understands the letter of the OSHA Act, they can perform that responsibility. If not, that's where NCDOL will step up to assist!
Does sugar help?
Yes, when you have nicotine poisoning drinking lots of water, eating sugary foods, and drinking sugary drinks all help. I've had nicotine poisoning a few times before and it can help but really you just have to wait it out.

Well I don't now about the pesticide that may of been sprayed but i believe what has happened here is Nicotine will lift venom off the Nicotinic receptors in the body which is a good thing however if its lifting too many venomous at one time will cause a person to become ill.

I worked tobacco here in Canada as a kid, I heard of it but never bothered me, we called it nicotine poisoning mind u we wore rubber slicks if we primed or suckered but our hand were all over it

The Swan Manor in Monroe,NC needs to be investigated for not paying payroll taxes on there employess for over 5 years. And also since some recent events have unfolded the safety of all there previous employess need to be checked on. F 5 is a KMG Freak Out, little brother of the Fire Ball that had the accident in Ohio. Very surprised to see that ride on the NCSF midway! You won't catch me on it! Scared?, no, ...stress cracks, like what happened with the Fire Ball. You can't see them with the naked eye..
Per the Elevator and Amusement Device Bureau Chief: this is a totally different design and is new. It is the same manufacturer, however completely different sweep design. Water cannot come inside as it is open on both ends.
Oh, I see, I didn't know that about the Freak Out. Thanks for pointing that out! So the seat structure is made up differently versus the Fire Ball. Still has the same style but the structure/how they're made to let water run off & not trapping it is different. Well, that makes me feel a little better about that ride. Next year, I'll ride it again. The Ohio thing just scared me away a little.

The Texas state fair doesn't have as many rides as the NC State Fair.
The Sea Ray isnt new, it was in that same spot last year! The others r new though..
This ride is new, first year at the N.C. State Fair (originally certified to operate in N.C. on Sept. 9, 2016). A similar ride may have been in the same location last year.
I live next to the ocean in North Carolina I was going to go this weekend but the rides where to dangerous because of hurricane Matthew
