Rhino Tutorial, modeling the organic and ergonomic hand grip
มุมมอง 9396 ปีที่แล้ว
in this video, you can see how we can model the ergonomic grip for Products. first, we need to draw the start and the end lines and after should connect this two with our perpendicular lines. for each line, you should draw a straight line and after changing the control points as you want(it's up to your shape). after, loft the lines with record history and finish. I did the lines before!

    hola, gran video, una duda, no hay posibilidad de que se genere una superficie completa? porque me ocurre q la malla es complicada y al volverla superficie, se convierten en muchas

    Thank you a lot for this tutorial. I needed to convert a complex mesh into a poly surface to export it as a step file for a manufacturer whose machines read only .step files, and your video just came at the perfect time. Thanks a lot!

    Again a video without audio commenting. How should it be possible to follow this in video speed when even the modules are not named? On a mobile device the screen is to small to see what you're clicking exactly. Without a second monitor I will have to use my tablet to see the video. Am I supposed to stop each second, try to find the object in GH on my PC? Or how do you thought this should work? Business users like me (what will be by far the largest group) will abort the video right away.

    Hi Amin, good video and simple to understand. For some reason when I tried to change the geometry from the ring to the curve creating the star or the other closed shape, it didn't work and said: 1. Volume cannot be computed for an open brep. What am I doing wrong? thanks

    • @mirandasalasalmada533
      @mirandasalasalmada533 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, the same thing happened to me. I figured the problem was that in the video firstly he used the ring, which is a volume. However, the star and the other shape are not volumes, they're planar surfaces. Therefore, just change the volume (m3) in the grasshopper for an area (m2), and it should work just fine :)
