Dang.. I'm not even old enough for this to be my time period but we still watched VHS tapes when I was 4.. the show aged perfectly to me.

This short film debuted at SIGGRAPH in 1989 presented in 3D and was the last pre-Toy Story short. The short was later released and re-rendered on May 30, 2003, in theaters with Finding Nemo which that version is preceded with the message "In 1989, six years before Toy Story, Pixar Animation Studios made this short film." A 3D version of the new edition was re-released with the Disney Digital 3D release of The Nightmare Before Christmas on October 20, 2006.
