That's a great story! I personally like when ghosts are portrayed more as sad figures than horrifying ones, so I may have a bias. This reminds me of my late great grandmother, who also suffered from Alzheimer's disease. Thanks for the short movie!

I cry each time I watch this: the scenes in the garden capture so much of my mother, who had Alzheimers and the love and understanding my father had shown in caring for her. And when he died before her, the 'ghost' of her former self searching for that understanding and familiarity of care ... ❤

Having recently buried my grandmother-in-law after a multiyear decline, parts of this really hit hard. At a more literary level, the idea of a ghost having functionally dementia due to when they died is a clever, and very impactful notion I have not seen before. My one criticism is that the great grandfather seemed to be much younger than I would expect for someone who is supposed to be that old.
