Dre is a scam. It can't even get spotting right and they charge you monthly for a scrappy robot voices that do not work properly

Just subscribed and ran a few races before deciding I want to change spotter voices. However, there’s ZERO information anywhere on how to do something that should be very quick and simple. When you can’t get the easy things right, it speaks volumes about how well thought out the overall program is. It’s a shame, because the concept has potential. But, if you’re charging a premium for an app or service, it needs to be perfect.

For some reason I thought this was a Dr. Dre spotter voice... Cool looking software though!

it's not the best spotter lol .. its talking to much and all these features are already in free overlays and payed overlays like racelabs.

Never heard of it. My real statement is who has time to analyze race data between wife, job, other hobbies, etc. Or do you do this for me?

Can we change the voices i dont like the ai bot voice its like using 90s phone in 2024 it just gives an old feel. CC is not feature rich like yours but if i could get a more natural voice i would recommend to anyone is this possible,

Ill try it again. The first time i couldnt get used to the voices. I felt more like i was walking thru an airport than racing a car.

People can like what they like but DRE is hands down the best for Iracing the information it gives you per lap is crazy just in itself.

Im surprised this hasn't gotten a comment yet. This is a really useful command. I literally just started iRacing and I've been solely using DRE to alter my pit strategy every session. For me, the voice commands are a must in VR,which is the only way I sim race. Seriously impressive work, Egil. I'm looking forward to everything you have planned.

Egil, I just wanted to say that I recently downloaded the latest version of DRE, and I’m really enjoying it. It’s a completely different experience than the first version that I tried a few years ago. I had some issues with DRE back then and went back to using Crew Chief. If anyone reads this that isn’t already using DRE, I would seriously think about giving a try. It has many innovative ideas , like the spotter voice appearing in the left or right audio channel, according to which side the other driver’s car is on. The voice recognition is very good if you take the time to dial everything in and train the Windows recognition system. I race in VR, so this is exactly what I’ve wanted, to be able to send text messages or control other functions with voice commands, when I run out of buttons on my wheel.

Is there a way to make dre speech sound less robotic as it sounds in this video. I'd like it too sound natural like Crew Cheif? I'm not a fan pf ai robotic sounding apps so if I can get voices that sound natural I'm in

I have had this app for a few days, it really is a great spotter👏👏

Make sure to listen with good quality speakers or headphones, as some of the sounds are low frequent and might not be that audible on phone speakers 👋
