Thanks for the love and support my big fan. Love you ❤️
yum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Magnifique
nice video pal
Sounded like it was bogging out when got near the band? Try bigger jet in carb?
Funnily enough it turned out after numerous jetting changes that the K2Tech expansion chambers are crap. I swapped them for a set of Delkevic about 4 months ago and it has totally changed the bike. It now lifts the front wheel easy in the first 2 gears and is crisp all the way to redline, as a result it's so much more fun to ride
Not tramp bars ?
Where is this area where what looks like a lifeboat ramp
Roa Island near Barrow-in-Furness UK
Weapon love it
Sweet😏
Good stuff
Excellent: You have done a fair job on that MK-1, I used to have the 1500 GT MK1 which was a good motor. I noticed you have the standard Master-cylinder. I did a conversion on mine, I fitted a Rover 2000 inline Brake Servo on the inner wing, this really boosted my brakes by over 50%. That was a quick way of improving the brakes. I see you have fitted 4-pot brakes on the front, so with as inline Servo, it will stop well. Have fun.🤨
Thanks for the comment Chris, Because I wanted to make the engine bay neat and minimal, I've fitted a VH44 servo under the right guard, so it has more than enough stopping power.
Salut my friend super car super video subscribe subscribe
nice car
That is a awesome classical speed machine. The bike looks amazing. I have always been a Yamaha fan. I was lucky to own a R1 out the box, fun machine. Take care and Hello from South Africa.
Thanks, yes I love it and still ride it every week
Would be nice to see it again now the jetting be sorted? It's a stunning bike .
Hmm car sounds wicked. I love Audi's. I have an A5, cabriolet. She standing still for a while, think the one piston ring is shot...grrrr. Anyways hi from South Africa.
Regret I think green is bit bright and incorrect?
If it was a Lotus I would of gone with the Lotus green for the stripe and kept it original, as it's a 4 door Cortina with a Toyota engine I went with the colour that I liked - cheers
Nice Ride and I love the bike, I also noticed you had a near miss with a deer.
Thank I love my RD too, no dear here though, could of been a Kangaroo?
I have said it before and I'll say it again, Yama Lube R two stroke oil smells the best and helps the bike run great and its smoke is just the right amount that Gretta will inhale twice to confirm it is a two stroke H1 ;) or H2 !!!
Labour of love....
⭐️ lovely job 😎 very tidy……and sounds GREAT 😎 ⭐️ 👍
Hi! Tony. I really like your bike. Would you be willing to share detailed info on the carb adapters, rubber mounting flanges and air cleaners you used? I'm trying to adapt flat slides to my H1. I machined adapters based on the old Denco ones but the carbs touch the engine cases. Looks like you've already solved those problems.
I think most of the question you asked are here bikereview.com.au/classic-restoration-1974-kawasaki-h1-500/ I'm not sure if the adapters are still available, they were John Aylor engineering.
Sweet. I'm actually diong up a mk1 gt cortina for a friend at the moment. I am also a very big 4ag fan after owning aw11's (mk1 mr2) for 26 years now.
Nice, my mate has the AW11 supercharged great car and starting to go up in value too. good luck on the Cortina build
@@tonyw3250 Yes, they are finally coming up in value to where they should have been for years. My track aw11 is twincharged, lots of fun. My daily/street aw11 I am doing a twinscrew setup on.
That's the best H1 I've ever seen
Nice . But it's still a 4dr. Toyota..
I couldn't find a decent 2 door shell at the time, but I admit it would of been nice. and the price of a lotus motor is just ridiculous so for performance and looks a $800 toyota transplant was a viable option.
sweet !
heh Tony.Lovin that car, great colour.Where,s the rest of the F ing vid! cheers
What other videos did you want to see, I could upload some?
@@tonyw3250 thanks for your reply. The vid on youtube ends quite suddenly so anything on the cortina. cheers

I turned vidio of wen he said Toyota
I wish I could of afforded a Lotus engine, but sadly not. Maybe in the future I can get one, I'll keep looking.
Did you turn off this video and put a lean to spell one on...
Be proud of that my son! Top job
Nice attention to detail on that underside!
Great work m8 lovely car
Thanks for that, I love this car, but need to drive it more, which i will now that it's getting cooler here.
What a nice job ...well done..
Nahim Wazir thanks for that, a lot of hard work has gone into it, but it still get used a fair amount, although not in the Rian lol
gimme a price then were are u in the uk
I'm in NSW Australia
im in the uk
is it for sale
you know everything is for sale at the right price
I think strictly dry days only for this one, I toyed with the idea of detailing my white mk 1 2 door underneath but 3 years since finishing it I'm so glad I never, it's one thing trying to keep the car clean on top, but underneath I think would just be to much, fair play though and superb job, that is one clean cortina, savvy engine choice too
I'm lucky I live in Australia so I don't have to use it in the rain so it stays clean underneath, although it does get thrashed once a week lol
no way, it gets thrashed at least once a week
hmmm amazing job.. but its almost to clean lol, hope you don't end up to scared to use it!
Beautiful car man great job
