Sewer Pros & Repipe Lining Systems - Durable and Flexible Sewer Pipe Coating
Sewer Pros, a renowned company in the plumbing industry, showcases their advanced sewer spray lining services using Repipe Lining Systems. This video is a must-watch for homeowners and businesses in Southern California, where earthquakes and ground movements are common. The highlight of this service is the flexible polyurea coating, which is resistant to cracks that can occur due to pipes shifting. Unlike regular epoxy coatings, which are prone to cracking under such conditions and allow tree roots to infiltrate the pipes, the polyurea coating remains intact. This innovative solution ensures a longer-lasting, more reliable sewer line system, effectively reducing the risk of damage and costly repairs. The video provides a detailed look into the process, benefits, and superior durability of this technology, making it an invaluable resource for those looking to upgrade their sewer systems.

Sewer Pros | Pipe Bursting for Residential Lateral Lines | Rancho Palos Verdes, California
มุมมอง 107K6 ปีที่แล้ว
Pipe bursting is a trenchless pipe replacement technique used for sewer, rainwater, and oil and gas pipes. The process entails pulling an HDPE pipe of equal or greater diameter into an existing pipe. As the HDPE pipe is being advanced via a winch system, a cone shaped bursting head breaks the existing pipe into pieces, removing them from the path of the new HDPE pipe. Sewer Pros offers trenchle...

How can I get that system
Is 6" STILL the maximum diameter?
Very interesting, I really need it.
I'm glad they put the yard back at the end, I had some guys come out and they left my house floating 10 feet on a slab of earth. The mailman kept falling into the void, it was really embarrassing.
The sharp turn of the new HDPE being pulled in was not accurate. Does not bend that sharply without kinking.
I need this in Montevideo, Uruguay
Has anyone had this done? Any clue of the relative cost?
This sounds like a good idea. What’s would something like this cost? Let’s say a 75ft 4 inch home sewer line.
Fabulous animated video! Exactly what I wanted to see: how does a new pipe get installed without having to run a trench the entire length of the replacement. Thanks a bunch!
Pipe sewer
Damm i wish it was available in my country
Il i
the grease will get those newly lined pipes eventually, would that newly sprayed pipes withstand the cleaning and descaling process??
How much $$$$$$$ are we talking about
Thanks for the details on the hydraulic line connections lol
Can you still snake line?
yes as long at the pipe still has structural integrity you can always snake it to clear the line.
No Jetters only
@@paulkassel55 yep I heard you can only hydro jet once you do this. I'm trying to decide whether to do this or install all new plastic pipes but they need to dig out our foundation so its going to cost like 30k. We have caste iron pipes. Theres no fun option.
I noticed the y’s and P traps were not lined, is that the catch 22
No need to line y connectors as they are thicker than the pipe
Do they have to do the entire pipe or can it just be the affected area ex. I have 100 ft but 90% is brand new pipe put 3 years ago but the other 10ft that install to the main is concrete want to only do the concrete is this possible?
Yes it is definitely possible to just do the affected area.
yes companies will apply only to effected areas just ask them to run a camera down the pipe and see for yourself what youre dealing with first
Yes they can do only affected pipe
Does this only work when the existing pipe is terracotta, or can it work on SDR 35 or 26 existing pipes too?
Of course. It's easier.
@@anon58973 What is easier? Breaking up SDR 35? More so then terracotta?
Yes, PVC is easier on the cutter head since it's softer than clay pipe
@@anon58973 awesome man!
Ok now I understand how it work...the old pipe bursts
This afternoon we were told we'd have to excavate. I thought about it for a couple hours and in my head invented this exact technology... it's just a matter of drying the pipe with heated air and finding the right chemistry that will not drip yet will harden enough to add some structural integrity in case the pipe needs it. Maybe it'd take a few passes of the sprayer. Hm, your lining is flexible. I was thinking more like an epoxy. But my run is only about 40 feet, so I'd hope it wouldn't shift that much. Unsurprisingly someone already invented it. Now I need someone in Austin, Tx that offers this service.
Hey I'm in Austin as well with a similar issue. Broken drain pipe underneath slab, being told they need to excavate. What solution did you end up going with if you don't mind me asking?
@@louiswatt8628 I don't mind, it's a big deal. We talked to Radiant, reliant, peanut, and capital city plumbing. Peanut and Capital City were the cheapest. Peanut gave me an estimate over the phone based on the length of the excavation that the other companies said would need to be done. 90% of the money is the excavation, the plumbing work isn't a big deal. After seeing it done once I could do it, but digging a 60 got long 3'x3' tunnel effectively by hand is costly, very hard work. So peanut gave the estimate over the phone, the other 3 came out and gave estimates between 20k-40k. We went Capital City. I *think* our neighbors went with Peanut but had a bad experience with whatever excavator company they used. They had their plumbing find about 6mo before we did.
@@louiswatt8628 here is a video I took after excavation, before and after demolition (they had to crack out or drill through some foundation beams to run the new PVC sewer line), and after PVC installation. We always had water and at least 1 toilet but excavation was very loud. This house is about 1200 ft'. th-cam.com/video/BF3Nl7Jt_-s/w-d-xo.html Or cast iron was in relatively good shape but we didn't want to wait until failure, which is inevitable after 50 years. We actually discovered the whole issue while investigating a problem with rats getting into the walls. We just bought the house last year. One company said the don't do excavation, they go straight through the floor. I said F that and I'm glad I did, that would be insane. All told this was just over $20k. I'm pissed at our realtor for not telling us to scope the drain lines. Every home in this neighborhood in south Austin is going to have to have this done in the next 10 years... I think she should have known. Everybody knows get your foundation and roof inspected. It only costs $400 to have the sewer line scoped. Should have been done during inspection. This is a 50 year old house and the life span of cast is 50 years.
@@jwgmail Thanks for the reply, looks like we have a little bit different of a situation. I just have one crack in a PVC drain. I spoke with a few companies including Reliant and ended up deciding on Rooterman for cost and that they suggested using a liner rather than smashing through the floor.
I need this in Montevideo, Uruguay
i had it done. I hired a licensed plumber and he hired his friends who came in van. Im not sure if his friends were licensed but at least he was. It seems like they can do like 3-5 homes a day. Took 1.5 hours (2 adults, 2 teenagers)

What’s the footage and price????
Amazing technology! The video graphics are incredible! A+ to whomever put this video together.
Very good.
Its a fantastic idea, would love to try it. Got my vote!
Hello where to buy in Europe Thank you
Hi, we are looking to obtain this technology for my country, can you give me more information of how to obtain it? Best regards, Manuel visit us at www.thermalpty.com
What’s the cost per foot? Only 15 year warranty instead of 50 years like the traditional epoxy lining?
