Welcome to Jack, Katie, Lynzie, & Matt (JKLM) Adventures! We are a family who loves to camp and explore new places. The channel began when we bought our first camper and were trying to make site reservations. We noticed a need for footage of specific campsites, so we started making the pick your site videos as a way to help campers choose a campsite (check out the pick your site videos) and began adding our family adventures and travels along the way. We hope you find this channel useful for making camping reservations!

Thanks for making one of the best videos Ive ever seen about campgrounds and campsites in particular. Well done, and very clear. Keep up the good work!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Anyone know how to get a seasonal site? No one seems to know~ive tried asking they just laugh, ive emailed and called multiple parks depts and they just refer me to another person and no one answers. Is it all who you know and blow?
Sorry, no idea. My best suggestion would be to contact the park, but sounds like you’ve done that.
Dangit, watched the whole thing to check out which primitive site to book for the springtime but they arent numbered lol. Thx for the video anyways, good idea.
Apologies, we try to capture primitive if we can, but not always as focused on the primitive sites based on time that we have.
Just booked site 24 ❤ so happy to see it’s just as awesome as I thought it would be
Have fun on your camping trip! We love Turkey Run!
I cannot find 61, 63 & 65. Am I missing them?
My apologies! We must’ve missed a couple.
Which company did you do it through?
We scheduled through Grand Canyon West website. It’s the company that’s right there onsite.
Thanks for the video! This is the exact camper we’re interested in and are looking into possibly getting it, but unsure if our truck may be able to tow it. What are the specs for your truck? I have an F150 as well but it may be borderline with towing this trailer with the specs we have. Thanks!
I’m sorry for the delayed response. I know we checked tow capacity at time of purchase and we were within range, but cutting it somewhat close. I keep meaning to take a picture of the sticker to respond with exact specs. We haven’t had any trouble towing it, but we have said multiple times we’d prefer a 250 with this size camper.
How in the world do you get Wabash from Quabache? lol. It's not called Wabash State Park nor ever has been.
Ha! I’m pretty sure that’s what the front gate attendant said when we asked how to pronounce it. But…now looking at the state park website it states it’s pronounced “o-bah-chee”. Our mistake! Apologies and thanks for letting us know!
❤❤❤❤
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Where about is that state park at
maps.app.goo.gl/TPbsUvtWhWbd4DJT8?g_st=ic
Good info! We're heading there in O
Glad you found the video helpful! Have a wonderful trip! Antelope Canyon was one of our favorite stops. Thanks for watching!
Didn't even show the goddamn lake, lame as hell best part of the place not even shown!
Hi! Thanks for watching. Our “pick your site” videos are specific to campground tours. We do have another video highlighting the attractions at the park. th-cam.com/video/2PAP5CVyVKE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=vFyQ_1Z4Tuf5x6b8 Hopefully you find what you’re looking for between the two.
Thank you for doing this. I know it had to be a lot of work. It helps a lot!!
Glad you found it helpful! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for doing this video. It really helps me understand the places to park your trailer. Also shows the park in a rainy situation. Being new to this, I can’t thank you enough for doing this.
Thanks for watching and we’re glad you found it helpful!
The price for the helicopter pontoon, is that 299 dollars pr person? We are a family of 4
Thanks for watching! If I recall correctly that was the price per person at the time.
@@JKLMAdventures ok😬 thanks a lot👍 because I cant tell from the webpage
Can you tell me about the mealtickets you can buy on there webpage? You have to buy online before hand? Our is there a cafeteria our restaurant at the skywalk?@@JKLMAdventures
I don’t know about meal tickets. We packed our lunch.
I love the Black River Tavern! Heading up to South Haven later this week!
It was good! Thanks for watching and have a great trip!
I grew up camping at lake Monroe. This slide may be what was once called the zoom flume. I was tiny when I rode it and I’m 45 now. Sad that it’s abandoned. Great video and was nice to see it again. ☺️👍🏻
Zoom flume…didn’t know that - thanks for sharing! Thanks for watching!
Is there cabins
Yes. Thanks for watching!
OMG, THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! We are visiting and camping there sight (site?) unseen, so this video of campground is awesome!
Thanks for watching! Glad you found it helpful!
Came here to see site 80. Not listed.
Thanks for watching! Site 80 is shown right near the beginning of the video, 0:43 (43 second mark and following for a few seconds)
Thank you so much for putting this video out so we can see our spot and oh my gosh it’s beautiful
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Me and my brothers going there at the end of May and our location is number six and I certainly can’t wait. I cannot wait.
Have fun! Enjoy your trip
Really appreciate the time you take in putting these together and annotating them so well. It makes it very easy to find the information we're looking for. I will just mention that I think you forgot to include the inside spots on one of the loops, roughly #331-338 which are sort of inside sites #351-367
Thanks! Glad you found it helpful…and apologies for missing the inside of that loop. I’ll have to see if I can get them our next time through Lake Mississinewa.
Thank you for reviewing our home state park as we live just outside the park on the county road. Your video was done very nicely. The first area that you drive by as you get ready to turn into campground B is actually a bocce ball court.
Thank you for clarifying the court area as bocce ball! I think I had it labeled as a horseshoe pit. Also, thanks for the compliment, glad you liked the video!
Any updates on the kayak?
It’s still working great! In fact, after flipping the vibe a couple times we’ve now replaced that with a second Ck1!
I've been on the fence about doing the helicopter/pontoon thing this coming weekend.... Now, seeing your video, I'M GOING!! Thank you for sharing.
Glad you found it helpful! Enjoy your trip!
You didn't show all the primitive
Yes, apologies. There are times (especially later in the summer/fall) when we aren’t able to capture all primitive sites. We try to record just after sunrise and usually can capture sites without a lot of people up yet. In the summer and fall sunrise is later and by the time we get to primitive sites, a lot of people are already awake and we aren’t able to capture as many. Also several of the primitive sites are set back in the woods and aren’t able to capture just by driving through.
LOVE Chain...great camping. 2 famous races are held there every year, IT 100 and The Huff 50K, runners from all over the world come to run them. If you ever come back, if you go into town right across from the Court house is the most awesome coffee shop called Fox Den, you have to try, they have some great made from scratch baked goods. Awesome video you did!
Thank you! Thanks for the tips! We will definitely be back in the future!
Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed!
Horrible campground...over run with kids in golf carts, that go unregulated by the park. Very unlevel, difficult to get into sites, very loud, and unruly. And generally not well cared for or maintained. Camper beware !!!!
It is definitely a family campground right next to an amusement park! We still enjoyed, but knew what to expect going in!
Thank you for your great video! It was very informative. I think my wife and I will be taking this tour this summer. How long was the tour from the beginning to the end? Thank you and God Bless!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video. Total time from takeoff in helicopter to return landing was about 2hrs. Our total time spent at Grand Canyon West with doing the helicopter tour and skywalk was about 4 hours.
Love the videos, could you guys do a video on towing with you truck and how does it tow and whats ur guys camper weight. Thank you
Thanks! Glad you like the videos! We may need to leave the towing videos to the experts….we are still somewhat new to hauling a trailer and still figuring things out. We have an F150 and we can’t recall exactly what the camper weighs. I know we check tow capacity against weight and made sure we left room for things added to the camper and truck bed. We did purchase a weight distribution hitch. Ideally I think I’d prefer to pull with a little more power, but we haven’t had any issues with our current set up.
BEAUTIFUL, but no cameras if you pay extra for the bridge? Not even a little GoPro? What, do they make you go through a metal detector??
If I recall correctly, they had staff with metal detector wands and they wandered you down before entering the skywalk.
Do they rent golf carts
I’m sorry, I don’t recall. I don’t recall seeing them for rent but we also weren’t looking to rent one while we were there.
Just did the Narrows 10/11/23 on a beautiful ( Mid 70's ) day. We only had time to hike up about 2 hrs including the paved trail beginning. We didn't rent anything, just wore shorts, hiking boots and brought our own hiking sticks. Didn't bring a change of clothes, the dry desert air dried us out in a couple hours. Had a great time, truly amazing to see!
It’s a great hike! Glad you were able to experience it!
Thank you a ton for making this video. I literally picked a site using your video! Looking forward to our trip further south from our LaPorte County base.
Great! We’re so glad you found the video helpful. Enjoy your trip!
Thank you! Yours family share your grand canyon tour and 🚁🚤tours. Enjoy!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video
Do u or anyone know a safe place for teenagers to jump off cliffs into water not to high?
Sorry, I don’t know. The river was pretty shallow when we kayaked it….maybe 3’ on average for the section we kayaked. There are places to pull off to the shore on the lake, but that’s also shallow near shore….at least for the places that we boated and kayaked on Mississinewa Lake.
Great video
Thank you!
Looks awesome
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video
I only got 5 correct. A few of them I had between 2 parks. I don’t know the state parks very well.
Some of them were tricky! Thanks for playing!
Great video but you skipped the main shaded loop? Lol
I know! So sorry….we do intend to go back and finish the park - hopefully soon!
Love these videos. However I booked 62 and in the description it says it's a pull through site. Your video shows a back in. Roomy site we'll be happy with if that's the case.
Hi! Glad you found the video helpful! When I look at the reserve America website for starve hollow site 62, it indicates back-in. It looks like a good site either way - have fun camping!
It looks like site 65 is pull through…if that helps.
We visited the park years ago right after it opened - Nice to see how far it has come!
Yes! It’s a very nice park.
Thank you for doing this. Both videos were a great help, we can't wait to go ourselves.
Thanks! We are glad you found them helpful!
We were scheduled to go this past Wednesday the 28th to yesterday (Saturday the 1st). We would have arrive the day or so after this video. We cancelled because of the air quality. It would have been super wet still. Thank you for this video.
Glad you found it helpful!
Do the water spickets have hose threads on them?
I don’t recall specifically. I also don’t recall them not having threads. It seems like if they didn’t have threads it’s something we would’ve noticed. Sorry! Just can’t say with certainty either way.
Thanks for the video
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
I love these kind of videos. I book sites off them. Great job! Thank you for taking the time for doing this video!
You are so welcome! Glad you found it helpful!
Hillbilly Golf is the absolute worst thing in the Smokies. It took us over 2 hours to play. 10 minutes to get tickets, 50 minutes waiting for the incline ride to the top, 30 minutes to play, and 30 minutes waiting in line to ride back down. 2 hours and $60 to play putt putt was insane! This was on a Wednesday at 3 pm.
Wow! That is a lot of waiting. We waited 90 minutes in line to get started, but once we started playing we enjoyed it. We didn’t have to wait to get back down. We were able to just hop right on on the way back.
I disagree. Your on vacation slow down and relax. Lots of great family memories there
