Tell me, is it true that sauces like ketchup or mayonnaise are not usually served with these chips?
No, they are served with it. For me personally, I only use salt and vinegar for mine.
Looks so good. I can't wait to make it 😊
Thank you sooooo much! ❤
Very yummy! I cooked ostrich gizzard
Do you throw away the seeds ? Or do you re plant or do you fry them and eat😊
Usually replant them
What is enjoying here. Are you starting the procedure or you have ended?
You should be able to make regular bread the same way right. I hope so 🤞🏾 finally a straight to the point video thx for sharing
For making bread, the method changes because the rising agent is yeast. The dough needs to be kneaded to activate the gluten, which gives the bread structure and chewiness. For banana bread, however, you don’t want to activate the gluten as much because this can make the bread dense and heavy.
Thx for sharing God bless 🙏🏾
Love from Bangladesh
Its very healthy.
Half of the time was to show us how to peel the beetroots.
She wasted a lot of time indeed
❤
Can i add beef/chicken stock to it?
Yes, you can.
support my community and I will support yours!! :) They looks delish btw!!
❤❤❤
Muvenda
That looks so good.
Thank you
Thank you so much for the baking powder tip to reduce saltiness!!! It works so well!! 🥹 God bless you
Don't Stop Posting & Don't give up. Also watch some thumbnail tutorial
Thank you. And I will continue to post and also look at how I can improve my thumbnails for the future.
Hi first time on your channel and I subbed, thank you for sharing this nice and easy beets recipe, will try for sure. I just roasted lots of them in my oven which is also another way
Oh yes I will be sure to try out that method as well.
Thx, cheff, you saved my stomach! 😊
This looks so good! Can’t wait to try it
I simmered mine for 30 minutes and it turned out well. Thanks for the recipe.
Thank you for watching and trying the recipe.
Those squashes are cute.
Are you able to deglaze your pan before you sauté your onions? Alternatively, before you brown the Boerwors, heat your pan (empty) before you add the oil and sausage. Thanks for sharing, I’ll be trying this tonight for dinner.
No, just make sure that as you cook the onions and tomatoes, the temperature is low. The deglazing will happen after adding the wors back into the pot and water.
Can I freeze the leftovers?
Yes, you can freeze it in an airtight container or freezer bag. Thaw it out in the fridge when you want to use it, then reheat on the stovetop or microwave. Also freeze the samp in batches.
Do I have to soak it if I’ll be using a pressure cooker?
Still soak for a few hours in hot water just for even cooking.
@@thevendachef8887 ooh thank you.
Yooh 24 hours soaking, you said quick 😢
🤣 it's quick after soaking. But mostly reduces cook time, and the samp cooks evenly. Either soak for 24 hours in cold water or few hours in hot water.
@@thevendachef8887 Okay thank you
Could I use apple cider vinegar?
Yes. It will affect the flavour of the beets but will still be good.
Thank you
❤
Beautiful video, beautiful hands.
Thank you
My favourite type of recipes. Easy, cheap and delicious. Thank you ❤
That pap is too soft is it " Blue bird or shaya"?
The pap, while dishing into the bowl should be malleable/ easy to transfer. The pap also hardens as it cools down. Had I made the pap anymore stiff, it would have turned into a brick as it cooled. Also the maize used was White star super maize.
❤
I thought it was water when you poured the vinegar that's alot of vinegar 🤣
The vinegar helps with preserving the beets, while also adding to the flavour through its tanginess, it is also balanced out by the sweetness of the beets (but if the sweetness is not enough for you, you can add sugar), and lastly the vinegar helps with the texture of the beets, keeping them crunchy. its not a lot of vinegar but just enough that it covers the beets and keeps them fresh.
Can I add cream cheese or heavy cream to the recipe?
Yes, you can add either the cream cheese, for the added creaminess, flavour and tanginess, or heavy cream for again the flavour and creaminess without changing the taste of the dish. Just remember not to add too much liquid, so it's not too wet (for a lack of better term). Also, add a little at a time and tasting as you go. Hope this helps.
Have a simple question
You can ask it I'll answer for you
You pierce 😅😅
Wow amazing tips ❤❤
Thank you
Like how many cup of flower?
Approximately 1kg of flour is 8 cups. Hope this helps.
Thanks!😁🌟
Beautiful thank u I'm busy with your recipe now and will enjoy it later for supper😋😋 ❤
Thank you for the support
Thanks I’ve only cooked this like you explained your mom did and I didn’t know about using vinegar. That’s like a major short cut. But, I think the fermented corn flour is much better for you to give your tummy good healthy probiotics it needs and a healthier gut. Now, I will try your way also when I run out of the cornflour that I’ve fermented. Because, I have to make a new batch of fermented and that takes a few days and I wanted to make pap. So now I don’t have to wait. Awesome PS. Your English is good enough. You did great.
Thank you so much for your support. Also I too like the natural fermentation route, but the way my mother taught me was through fermenting the maize meal.
We eat a lot dishes with tomatoes I like the way to take off the skin thanx❤
Measurements plz
Please check the description box
Very interesting to see how other people cook it. I must say that was very long. For me pap is one on my quick whip ups 30 min tops. I wanted to learn how to make pap in the large black pot and found myself here.❤
Oh thank you so much for the support. And for me it depends on my mood and level of hunger how long I cook the pap. This low heat slow and longer allows me to multi-task plus love the taste, but high heat and shorter cook time is great when I am tired and craving pap. 😀
You didn't give us measurements 😢
Please check the description box.
Hi! guys, the full ingredient list and measurements are in the description box 👆🏾👆🏾 and thank you guys for the support on the channel.
