I wonder if Grindewald wish he could do that with Dumbledore's memory, set it free and be rid of it. But at the same time he values him too much and doesn't really want to, and that's why he helped Kama be rid of his as well, at least part of the reason. Hmm that got me thinking, theory that might not be true: what if he actually does that to some of his memories or maybe he has a pensieve? To not lose focus on his cause.. and maybe that's why he doesn't understand that Dumbledore was with him because of love.. He'd made himself forget "the sweet moments". Would make a bit of sense actually but yeah probably not true..?

Listen I absolutely ship this, but its so toxic😂 "I was commited-" and immediately Gellert goes "To ME" and kinda after "to us" Like hes RIGHT, but its still so pretentious of him😂. And Dumbledore has to be like "no you dumbass I was in love with you, human feelings exist Gellert Oh and the way he said "yes🙂" when dumbledore said that also rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe Im reading sth into it that wasnt supposed to be there, but it feels like hes saying "yes you were, werent you, lmao" like in a manipulative type of way. Also the tried and true "who will love you if I dont" method, what is this abusive partners and where to find them?😂 Again I know these are fictional characters and I dont think its a problem to ship them, but they are toxic tho😂 (Its always important to see and acknowledge that, but again its not wrong to ship them!)
