I don't get the point in getting air bases in every city unless u plan on producing air forces in every city. Air bases are more expensive and less efficient than arms industries. Arms industries are made for resources, and have better stats for production. Btw navy bases do the same bonus as air bases

I don’t really view any one doctrine as superior to the other. It all just depends on the player’s fighting style. I usually prefer a unit stack of motorized infantry, aa guns, and tank destroyers. But the main thing is to keep things flexible, because each enemy you face will have a different focus on units and battle doctrine, and one needs to be able to employ the necessary countermeasures to face those challenges.

Ok so I will say, your point of using attack helicopters, fighters, and AWACS on Easter doctrine is slightly flawed, I regularly use eastern doctrine and all of those units you mentioned and while you may be able to freely attack with the helicopters because the SAMs don’t engage them, I will just kill them with my fighters, and when your fighters try to defend them, my SAMs will destroy them along with the fighters. And the AWACS would have to stay relatively far to not get hit by my SAMs which reduces its effectiveness or kills it if you get too close or I move closer. If you try to attack by ground to take them out, I will use extensive rocket truck artillery, and in the even that doesn’t kill them, then you will run into infantry and tank destroyers(or good MBTs if we stick to doctrine). I’m sorry but against an active player that know what they are doing, how to use the units, and how to use the terrain and game limitations to their advantage, your style would not work without substantial numbers advantage and even then it would be close. But this is why I always prioritize air superiority and try to have at least two wings early on. Also don’t get me started on the Frogfoot because I use it very much and they can wreck big stacks pretty quick as well. Not that yours is bad, just was pointing out that flaw, but it does require a skilled player which is pretty hard to find in a regular game lol

For Eastern being defensive, remember good defense is usually pretty good offense too 😉

Before this starts, honestly European is best for my style but eastern is a close call too…..western doctrine is ok but not great in my opinion 🤷🏻‍♂️

The reason that both helis had 1.5 on ships was because the gunship was lvl 4 and the apache was lvl 1

CON WW3 became an open-ended distraction for me. I was constantly thinking about it 24/7, literally even in my dreams. And of course that messed up my sleep. Not totally sure you really need to bother with tank dest when you have mech inf. I'd only do it if enemy was really spamming tanks.

Euro mech are so kick ass and all round that you ront need many more land units. This frees you up to build your sea and air units more.

15 nukes on day 18 is insane

Air superiority fighters and gunships are the first thing you should build. Every single game. Helis are low signature rotary, they avoid sams which shut down planes completely, low signature is also undetectable by almost all units while in friendly land, they are defense monsters.

2:14 that’s a good point though… I never thought of that. Your entire coalition will effectively take down a 1890 vp + opponent, gaining pretty much all that in about 2-4 days, so about 450 vp each assuming it’s a 5 coalition, but never taking on an equal opponent
