Woah this was a very informative video . I was unsettled by the info discussed. Mind is Blown 🤯🤯🤯. As a UC Davis Student I wish I could’ve attended in person because I now have more questions.
Around the 15 minute mark of the video, in my introductory remarks I show a slide that was intended to be an animated PowerPoint slide intended to first show a screenshot of a headline of a UC Davis article on the opening of the coffee center, written by Molly Bechtel, followed by a screenshot of an external newspaper article by Comstock's magazine, where the link is made between the Coffee Center and funding by Chevron, including quotes by UC Davis faculty involved in the Coffee Center. In part because the sequential animation did not take place and both screenshots are shown superimposed for the duration the slide is shown, the impression is left that the text I show is attributable to Molly Bechtel. This impression was unintentional. Links to both articles below.
This is information that everyone needs to have. I don't think most people realize just how thoroughly Big Oil's deliberate disinformation campaign has infiltrated every area of our lives, including, sadly, the papers that scientists funded by Big Oil publish. They are duping us, folks, just to line their own pockets and at our expense.
Thank you for sharing this talk and this important work.

Please include the title of the talk in the title of the TH-cam video. Otherwise it it is difficult to find the video.
Thank you for your support on our videos, we've considered adding the titles to the youtube video but unfortunately, most of the titles do not fit in the word limit for TH-cam. Please look to the description for more information and the title! We also have organized playlist if you would like to check those out :). This entire series is still a work in progress so please do follow along!
Hello I am from Pakistan and my Major is microbiology. I have done ma 6 semesters and now I want to be transfer in UC Davis for the research work. Kindly tell me how can I do this.
Please refer to the transfer admission website for more information. Good luck for the future and we hope to see you here! www.ucdavis.edu/admissions/undergraduate/transfer
Great talk, but perhaps use the title of the talk as title for the video. Or perhaps write the text in the thumbnail.
Hello! Thank you for your support on our revamp of the Storer Lectureship series! The reason why the titles of the lectures aren't in the TH-cam video title is because there is a word limit and some of these titles are quite long! However, if you are looking to search for titles, all of them are in the description so they are not hidden.
Why is a ten year old presentation being released now? I admire Dr. Wrangham's work. I am grateful that this showed up. However, seeing a lecture from 2013 being posted in 2023 isn't adding up.
Hello! We are currently in the process of bringing back and revamping the Storer Lectureship Series from the hidden archives to TH-cam to provide more accessibility to those who would like to watch these older lectures! All of these lectures are amazing works by knowledgable speakers that we would like to share with everyone. Thank you for your support.

If atheism is demonstrably false why atheists remain unperturbed? Atheism is a logical fallacy that assumes God is the religious idea of the creator of the creation to conclude wrongly no creator exists because a particular idea of God doesn’t exist. Future generations would understand the atheist fallacy, so why don't you? I am tired and down. To end the war in Ukraine and avoid a third world war the discovery that atheism is a logical fallacy has to be news. I am a good person honest and rational and I have the arguments that lead to the truth. I need to be understood for God's sake. I am talking about the only that matters and exists for me.

Such charisma. I wish my partner would give me a perfume bouquet.
This was a TH-cam recommendation and I'm happy I stumbled onto it! Very interesting. It's hard for me to imagine that they don't produce their own pheromones, and all the variables involved in creating their own perfumes. And that extraction method! Thanks Marissa, very cool
My man those are some no playin around chops you got there
You should also let your class know that : 31% of them will have negative Return on investment if they don't further their education... Only Theology and Art majors have worse ROI. this is according to The Foundation for Research on Equal Opportunity. 60% of your class will get a graduate degree . But 48.3% of them will end up under-employed or working in a job that does NOT require a degree at all... this is according to the The Labor Market for Recent College Graduates published by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York . Those that do end up getting a PHD , 40% will end up having depression... this according to the Nature magazine.. And of course there is Eroom's law and the terminal decline of Pharmaceutical industry . So do your next years class a favor and fail most of them. of course that will mean fewer grands for your department =P
Great to be the first person to put a comment here. Thank you all for putting this Grow Forth Commencement. Your words are in my heart. You are in my heart, and UCD is in my heart!! ❤️❤️👍👌
