Another video worth seeing, thank you! 👍While I am a little bit dissapointed not to see more of your black and white photography (I like your stile!), you bring to attention a very valid, in my opinion often overlooked point: inspiring books. For all too long I was stuck in GAS and watched videos about gear and tried different brands. When I finally realised the nonsense of this I changed into a probably not better, but sure happier photographer. Instead of spending money on the latest gear I now stick with my trusted tools and spend money on books that give inspiration and motivation and spend money on printing my pictures as I prefer seeing photos on paper than instead on screens. And of course I still spend some time getting inspiration from channels like yours. Unfortunately this quality is hard to find as the algorithms tend to prefer presenting gear related videos as this is where the money is. Even poor videos get lot of clicks from brand fanboys and so these videos are very widespread making it harder to find channel like yours. So I wish you lots of success and keep up the quality content! Best wishes, Thomas

Excellent video and great work. I think loneliness is a key factor for a lot of photographers. I know it is for me. The camera helps me get some of my needs met and at the very least makes the loneliness much more manageable. The way I shoot has more to do with the experience of taking the photos rather than the final image. Not that the image isn’t important but the experience means at least as much to me. My camera is my friend and I enjoy spending time with my friend. I ask nothing more in return. I guess with an attitude like that I shouldn’t expect a bunch of likes on instagram but that’s ok. Maybe that’s why I’m lonely. 😊
