To all my black brothers and sisters dont fool with wels companies ,their currupt and here's proof I worked there for about 8 months and I was lease purchase , the first truck they assigned me to went to the beterbuilt shop in fort with tx witch is very incompetent place when it comes to professional work quality everything they did there had to be done again and it took them 15 days and when they decided to give me another truck witch was 2024 charging me over $1000 a week and didn't give me any work I took it back to them and now there trying to change me $7000 for there fuckups, leave them alone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you mind if I ask, when you had to terminate the lease were there a lot of charges to you for an early termination ? If so, how much money did it cost you and do you know of other leasing companies with a better contractual agreement for a situation like this that you found yourself in ? I was owner operator and a company OTR driver for a number of years, then I hooked up with one company where I was earning $100,000 per year working 4 days a week. The company was only 1 mile from the house, pretty sweet. Work ending injury occurred in the wear house. Leasing, I have never done that, being OTR offers options which you can use to your advantage. All the best and keep the shinny side up.

Maaan glad to hear you're doing good I'm still hanging in there with Wel for now, they're hiring more drivers and don't have the freight to support, basically I'm driving far just to make truck expenses!!

WEL COMPANIES is one of the worst companies I ever drove for. In 7 weeks, I went through 4 trucks, carried 3 loads, had 3 loads cancel, made a GRAND total of $5000.00, and spent over 20 days in a hotel waiting on a truck. Missed every major holiday. Every person in my orientation class had to do a recovery to get their trucks. None of the trucks had gone through IC PREP, and all of them ended up at the Peterbilt/Kenworth dealer within two weeks of getting our trucks. Their pay system is confusing as hell, you have to trust what they tell you. They don't explain all their fees well, and they do a lump sum escrow maintenance plan for all IC drivers. It is $0.16 CPM and there is a $0.08 CPM charge for every mile over 2400 in a week. You cannot use their fuel card unless you are under a load, and your bonus and sign on bonus will not be paid out unless you are on a load. They absolutely do not give a shit about their drivers. You will be sitting for days, and they will charge you $250 if you are late but will not inform you when shippers/receivers close. To top it all off. After I quit and turned my truck in, they sent me a letter stating my contract was cancelled as of November 22, 2022. WHICH IS HILARIOUS because our first day of orientation was November 22, 2022. WORST COMPANY TO DRIVE FOR. PERIOD. ESPECIALLY AS AN IC. Any questions feel free to ask me.

I wanted to hear about the company I wanted to hear about what it takes to be successful at that company and you just need somebody to talk to you I’ll just have to call the company myself like I tried before and I thought you would be a good insight for information but you’re scatterbrained
