YES, I completely agree with you on this! I absolutely adore physical media especially DVDs, I love that they give you things like behind the scenes, deleted scenes/songs and (my personal favourite) commentary from the makers of the flim. I just think it's so fun and interesting to watch! The only down side about DVDs is you have to take really good disc otherwise it could make the film glitchy or unplayable. I also love me some lost media!!🤭<3

I think part of it might also be that youtube itself pushes what's already popular- i like to watch the usual big name adult collectors, but find that i have to dig deep for videos by smaller channels/creators (glad to have stumbled upon yours, too!), so even when looking up terms in the search bar it's the same familiar faces up in the first 30 or so videos So if there are kids making videos, it's a lot harder to find

This makes me sad honestly! Why would any doll be in a “burn” category? Like at least put “least favorite” or “weakest doll” instead. I own one of the Lagoona dolls in that category. I understand different opinions and all, but sometimes, that’s all some collectors can afford. As doll collectors, shouldn’t we appreciate dolls as a whole? Without having to hate on them with so much passion? I honestly don’t get why people hate on plastic dolls that are meant for kids just because they have poly hair, no printed on details, or something else. We need to appreciate the small things in life, like being able to afford this expensive hobby, not hating on every doll. Especially when someone purchases a doll and STILL has problems with it. Why can’t we just enjoy it? 😞

I grew up with the same colour red DS Lite! I still have it, but it's been through a lot and is in pretty poor shape unfortunately. I got my 2DS in 2017 pretty much just for Tomodachi Life and Animal Crossing: New Leaf, I can definitely recommend New Leaf. I think it is objectively my favourite Animal Crossing game, though subjectively I have a lot of love/nostalgia for Wild World on the original DS. In terms of Zelda games, I quite enjoyed Spirit Tracks on the original DS, though I would maybe play Ocarina of Time before that one as it's more of a "mainline" experience. A Link Between Worlds on the 3DS is supposed to be quite good as well.

this was such a nice video!! i agree with your point about tomodachi life though - i don't think a port of it on the switch would do it as much justice, esp since the bottom screen of the DS was such a big part of the gameplay. i'd love it if they made a whole new tomodachi game for the switch 2 though !!
