I feel sorry that he so offended Jim McGuinn and Gram Parsons that the world got the song 'Drug Store Truck Driving Man,' but then I see or hear something like this, and I know that Mr. Emery apparently remained oblivious to how trivially dull he often seemed and how insulting he could be.

Ralph Emory was never known for doing any research on guests on his show. It would have been so easy for him to learn what NOT to ask Randy. He had Chris Hillman on his show once and said, "So how is Gram (Parsons) now days?" "Still dead, Ralph."
