Well you asked for a comment to help out and I can give you my two cents if you want. As far as Sanderson goes, start with Mistborn. Tress is wonderful (then again I think it’s all wonderful since The Cosmere is my favorite Series overall) but definitely start with Mistborn’s first book titled The Final Empire. After the first 3 Mistborn books (Brandon and fans refer to each Mistborn sub-series as Eras) you can find several reading orders online put forth by people who tailored it to their reading experiences. I personally prefer the Optimized Order from the Raven’s Rants channel (adding in The Lost Metal, the 3 Cosmere Secret Projects, and Wind and Truth after Rhythm of War (which was the most recent book at the time of the video’s release)). How to read Cassandra Clare? Well the Shadowhunter Chronicles is similar to Robin Hobb’s Realm of the Elderlings in that it has several Sub-Series within its larger Universe. Most of the Sub-Series are Trilogies with one (Mortal Instruments) being 6 books set up in 2 separate Trilogies. Chronologically In-World the Series go: The Infernal Devices The Last Hours The Mortal Instruments The Dark Artifices The Wicked Powers (yet to be released but will happen soon). There’s also a 3 book Anthology Series that follows one of the Side Character from The Mortal Instruments where he is the Main Character called The Eldest Curses. The first book takes place between the 2 Mortal Instruments Trilogies, the second between the Mortal Instruments and the Dark Artifices, and the third one will take place in between the Dark Artifices and the Wicked Powers once it’s released. Honestly you can read this Series however you want to read this Series lol. I enjoyed it the way I have read it which is MI 1, ID, MI 2, DA, LH but if you want to read Publication Order or Chronological Order instead have fun. It’s a Series worth reading. Not the best but certainly better than a lot of stuff that gets released. Now for my last bit of word vomit here lol here’s my 3 recommendations for you to add to your list of Series to Read in 2025: The Dresden Files- my second favorite Series after the Cosmere. The first 2 books are kind of rough (even the Author acknowledges this lol) but they are pretty short to start with and get MUCH better from book 3 on. Book 12 in this Series, titled Changes, is my Favorite Book of All-Time and that’s saying something. Not just that but Harry Dresden is my favorite Protagonist of All-Time. There’s no one else I’d rather have at my back on my worst day, in my worst hour than Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden. James Marsters (Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer) does the Audiobooks for them and just IS Harry. Book 18 of this Series, titled Twelve Months, is releasing in 2025. The Mercy Thompson and Alpha and Omega Series by Patricia Briggs. Set in the same World they are 2 pretty great Urban Fantasy Series. Mercy Thompson is set mostly in Eastern Washington (the State) lol and Alpha and Omega is kind of all over the Map but they are both set in what I like to call a Mash-Up Fantasy World because it has everything. Fae? They got it. Werewolves and Skinwalkers? Yup. Vampires? Sure do. Witches? You betcha. With the Series you’ve listed here this should be right up your alley. Last but not least the Lorien Legacies. A YA Sci-Fi and Superpower story (from what you’ve put here this is an out of your comfort zone pick) about a group of Aliens hiding on Earth from another, hostile, group of Aliens who end up coming together to save Earth over the course of the seven books in this Series. Oh yea there’s a sequel Series here… I DNF’d it it was pretty bad lol. The Original Series though is fantastic. Anyway that’s my two cents so I hope you have fun reading and have a good 2025!

I’ve got accepted 💕 Graduate May 11th for Bachelors and still have to go to college to finish my Masters degree. I had to organize my schedule with my advisor to do all online classes while doing DCP but they said dedicated time off isn’t guaranteed….. how do I request time off?

s disney flexible for school schedules? I am doing dcp pretty soon! and I want to do my college classes over zoom, can disney not schedule me on that specific day I have school? like that whole day? I applied as part-time student.

BTW, I know a guy who installed the original tree at Animal Kingdom. It was a real unique tree that looked very similar to the present fake one but when they were craning it in, it broke apart so they went with a fake one modeled almost identically to the broken real one. It would be almost impossible to find a real tree like that again.

How good are they with days off? I only have two chances to make it in, so I applied for fall 2023 and I have my phone interview for Tuesday. The only problem I have for fall is my sister's wedding, where I am the maid of honor. I am definitely not missing it, and was wondering how good they would be with taking five days off. She lives in Minneapolis, so I would need two days already just for travelling back and forth.

So jealous that y'all can have nail polish with real colors now! It was always so hard to find neutrals that actually looked decent.
