If you build a rock wall around your house you can let your Turtles free range the same can be done with rabbits they do it in El Paso. The rock walls keep down the wind erosion.

I put mine outside when it is warmer & mist them often. I also soak them once a week. In the winter, they come in. It gets way too cold.

Great video!! And I appreciate you sharing that website... That's a great resource. We have a sulcata tortoise who lives in our back yard (plus we just built him a house), and we live in the Tampa Bay area. I'm constantly watching the weather... and it's honestly exhausting 😅 His new house helps, but those darn mosquitoes and fire ants are the worst issue. Yet we can't use any type of chemical to treat the yard. So if you have any helpful tips on that, that would be an awesome video!!
