Hi! I'm Jessie, a 40 year old artist living in rural Central Oregon with my husband and our Australian Shepherd, Journey. I'm a multi-passionate creative and I'm over trying to "niche down". If you're looking for inspiration to live life more creatively (but in a lowkey, non impressive, achievable way) I hope you will find it here!
From scrapbook journaling to DIY home projects, cooking and cozy hobbies and crafts, I'm here sharing my experience with it all.
I'm also on a mission to add more reality to the internet. We aren't all influencers with perfect homes, and we need to be reminded of that sometimes.

Have you ever noticed that the photos print out with a blue hue?? I’ve run the blue paper in multiple times to clean it out like Google says, but it’s still printing out very blue. 😭
Oh no! I haven't run into that issue. Sometimes the color looks a little off but I can usually correct it with the color balance. Have you tried messing with that? Adding some red and yellow? Sucks to waste the papers testing it out though!
Hello. You’d be excellent at ASMR. I think if you’d like to grow a following, this could be very positive for you. You could even just continue to do unboxing and life chats and label them asmr. (I did not watch this video so sorry if I missed anything. My friend was watching your video of the canon ivy and I felt the need to let you know, your movements and voice are perfect for relaxation)
What, really? That's such a nice compliment. Thank you! I love ASMR. I always try to incorporate some ASMRish moments in my videos but I will consider doing more of it!
Do I have to put the blue card in the back or device every time u print a new picture or just the one time when turning on?
Not every time you print a picture no. There is a blue card in every pack of photo papers, so whenever you load a new pack the blue card goes in first, but then you're good to go until you run out of papers!

May I ask, what coil binding machine do you use? I'd like to make journal christmas gifts for my family this year. Do you have an Amazon affiliate storefront? I would love to know what products you recommend in DIY journaling/stationary ❤. Looove your artistry!!

I don't have any affiliate links but I appreciate you asking. :) I outsource my notebooks now, but if you're interested in doing personal projects I would look into "The Cinch" made by Heidi Swapp/We are Memory Keepers. That's what I used for a long time to make notebooks. That brand has all the materials you need too. Have fun! And if there's any other questions I can answer feel free to ask!
@JessieUpClose I have a few of your handmade notebooks from Etsy and I love them. I have the veggie print cover with the dotted paper. Every hole punch is so perfectly aligned with the paper pattern!! And I like how durable the cover is. That material is easy to clean. Were those all products from The Cinch too?
@@luciac214 Oh no way! That's really cool to hear! So that brand has book board and wire rings for binding, but I ordered my materials in bulk from other places. The material I used for the covers was waterproof label paper that I printed my designs on. I'm not sure if you're designing your own, but another option would be to use scrapbook paper and laminate it. For the pages I just found printer paper I liked and you can find templates online for printing dot grid or lined pages at whatever size you need.
