2001 Kone Delta MonoSpace elevator + hydraulic car lift at Leong Hwa Monastery
A rebuilt temple with a passenger lift and a car lift.
The extra clunk you hear at Basement 2 is the lift readjusting due to a leveling issue. Interestingly, the lantern lights up much earlier before the lift arrives at the called floor, not sure what the feature is called exactly.
The car lift, while working, acts as a storeroom and the lights were off so I did not want to ride it. The staff redirected me to the passenger lift when I tried to ride this. For some reason, it has the old KONE logo and TMS fixtures. Might be built earlier than the passenger lift, or it is one of the last TMS lift installed.
Technical info
Manufacturer: Kone
Capacity: 11 persons/750kg (passenger), 2600kg (car)
Floors served: B2 to 3 (passenger), B2 to 1 (car)
Year installed: 2001
History: Original

This is an earlier Elenessa model with GPS-III logic, similar to the one at Marina Square. Later models from about 2008 onwards require at least two calls to cancel floors.
Floor cancel feature on Elenessa is very inconsistent. One other Elenessa didn't even have it!
@@elevadinnnThat's because floor cancel feature is an option, so not all Mitsubishi lifts (regardless of models, from GPS/GPM onwards) have such feature.
Capacity reminds me of TEL4 KONE lifts.
Also did you go to 31 Intl Bizpark? The Fujitecs were last seen original in October 2023 and I was wondering if the cargos are still there.
No chance to go there unfortunately
Replaced way too early. Complex was built in 1997.
Prev 90s LG i heard
Before the rebuild?
@elevadinnn Ya. I rem riding the lift bef but cant rem the fixtures alr
This is actually an MCA as the previous lift had a motor room and it doesn’t have a control cabinet on the 4th floor.
Would love to give this one a try if I ever come to Hokkaido
what elevator floor announcer voice is that?
TX-GC* TX has slower chimes
When was this building completed? The capacity plate is the pre-2005 one from what I can tell as the Schindler logo still has the blue line.
2004
Ik wheres this. That time its so busy until I couldnt get a chance to film
Rode a very small elevator in some clan building somewhere in Little India/Serangoon Road, made by a Taiwanese generic company.
This is a different lift from the one I found, that one is in the middle of Chinatown. Looking at the long indicators this lift is originally from the 70s or 80s
If I recall correctly, Tatung Otis was the distributor of Sigma in Taiwan according to Sigma's old website which is probably why it is branded like that.
I’ve remembered the Otis lifts at Ten Mile Junction (before redevelopment to Junction 10 and The Tennery) and The Rivervale are using the black or white square buttons similar to Lot 1 but forgotten if these two places got this announcement at first when newly installed before being worn out
Apparently they use Zhiel Abegg motors…
Still 2600?
@@elevadinnn No idea, ask a Schindler expert on that...
The 2000s model is quite rare in sg
Good thing the one in the former Bedok library is still there
I think I also passed by this place on the way to Raffles Hospital around the same time you filmed this.
Did you record this and the GEC Koppel with an iPhone? The quality of this video kinda matches that of SBS3821D's videos from 2012-2013.
It was an iPhone 4 lol
I kinda wonder where this is... is it part of any lobby?
Near the T2 bridge lifts iirc.
Practically a Gen3 (which it may be), isn’t any different from a Gen2.
Toshiba overseas! ? Thank U for introducing me to Japanese elevators. I registered :)
Dong Yang was a Korean brand. Thank you though! I have filmed elevators in Hokkaido too.
Is there like a proper pax lift?
For both passenger and cargo. Office workers were seen taking this lift.
Wished they still kept the HEA fixture line and voiceovers instead of using those from Guangzhou Hitachi… Even still, a LCA should not be mechanically different than OUG/UAG…
It uses a totally different controller and motor, the existing Siam Hitachi models are over-engineered and over-specced and their HDB installs are 100% clear of defects, in fact I've yet to find a Hitachi lift with weird noises in motion here
Definitely Dong Yang based on the LOP indicator. The former Dong Yang lifts in my aunt's former apartment in Jakarta had that exact same LOP except that they're of duplex type. Finally another Dong Yang in a non-HDB property in Singapore.
It uses Leadway chimes
Rode this when I visited Goldbell Towers
Finally, another non-HDB Dong Yang elevator in Singapore
How u got in tho
The gate was open although the place was empty. Can't say the same for the church beside.
@@elevadinnn so I assume U accessed the lift from carpark?
No carpark, it's just along Moulmein Rd
@@elevadinnn I see
I rem riding this one. Ya the buttons do beep and only this lift does that
Prev 1990s hitachi from what I heard.2023 start of yr when I visit this was alr replaced
I regret not visiting this place when I filmed the Nippon Otis lifts at old National Skin Centre opposite tbh
The expansion building was completed in 2002 according to the website, which would include this lift.
@@elevadinnnI rem national skin ctr alr moved out to new loc but I so far have no updates on the location along moulmein road
Moved to the new site right beside the old one. I got a video of the new lifts coming up
@@elevadinnn I mean the old bldg no longer accessible or smth?
Dong Yang indicator outside. With the missing branding, could this actually be a DY Anyway, installed in 1996
Long nameplate, which makes it plausible. Do Toshiba and DY lifts share the same door tracks?
@@elevadinnnYes they do, due to a technical partnership between the two company.
The door sound sounds like a sped up hungry cat Logic behaves like generic
Older Samil Eltec chimes. Many older Louser lifts as well as generic Korean lifts from the 2000s in Indonesia have those chimes.
IIRC one lift at People's Park Centre also had this chime (SELEVA, modded by Duford)
Did u film pax lift too?
No, could not find them and I was in a rush 😅
@@elevadinnn I see
Dry-powered hydraulic pump judging by the sound it makes
Did you also go to Eastern Lagoon or Ocean Park? Both of them have Toshiba.
Nope
Avire eMotive indicators
Actually from what I heard these were refurbished once with B95 sometime in the late 90s or early 2000s before they were modernized in the 2010s.
Those metal lexan buttons are often seen on older UK made OTIS lifts in the UK. The passenger lift might've been originally Nippon OTIS judging by the door tracks and bumper.
Dang, that makes another noteworthy Mitsubishi hydraulic discovered in Singapore! I miss the one at Yue Hwa (Chinatown) though. 90s model with an even louder motor, I have a video of it on my profile
Sounds like a mod?
New door tracks. Previous models do not have these door tracks.
Its bottom drive actually not hydraulic
It's indeed hydraulic. Apart from the motor sound, look how long the lift levels after the chime rings.
Nice elevator 👍
Otis pax lifts shld be lexans or smth if its early 90s
Installed in 1987
I think I’ve been on a similar Hitachi like this one in Tokyo, it's at an APA Hotel if I can remember correctly.
I remember seeing a similar Toshiba at a Citadines in Shinjuku, Tokyo except it has round glass buttons.
