Use clorox bleach. Takes all the stains out of the gelcoat and doesn't attack the gel coat. Much less expensive and works better than hull cleaner with acid in it.

Just in the process of doing my Pontoon boat. 1989 vintage. I have owned it for 10 years. It was sitting for approx 15 years before that. Uncleaned. I am using No name Toilet bowl with 6 x 4 brillow pad (s) stapled to standing block. Dampened thepontoons and applied cleaner along top of pontoon. Start scrubbing and it required way less work than I thought. Amazing. I also tried WD-40 and it worked amazingly well but likely more expensive. Nothing ventured nothing gained!

Owned our 19ERD for four years here on CT near Long Island Sound. Mild winters so in the fall we remove anode rod to flush sediment from H20 Heater, , drain H2O holding tank via modified T-valves and flush all lines via city water port. Next we use an adapter and air compressor hooked to anode rod threaded port to blow water through all open lines. Once thoroughly dry we add maybe a cup of anti-freeze to all J-Traps and same to black tank and "closed" toilet" seal. You DO NOT want anti-frees to ever sit in your H2O heater so make sure that valve in "closed" vs "in-line" or open position and loosely reassemble anode rod so it's rodent proof" That's it for winterizing.... In the spring flush all lines as indicated in the video. We typically fill the fresh water holding tank and add a cup of bleach and let it sit overnight then flush all lines and empty again before filling for our next travel adventure. One more thought, throw away the screws on the access door to the water pump under the bathroom sink-- a bit of velcro will hold the light plywood panel in place even on bumpy roads, We traveled 14K to Alaska last season and never had a problem with any of the above. Do change your anode rod when it deteriorates and also use some type of inline water filter when filling your water tank and even with city water at campgrounds. Also we have always used a water pressure regulator at campground faucets to avoid risk of high pressure bursting the pex lines in the camper. Cheers and happy trails.

I use Blackhawk Performances Eco Boat Hull Cleaner on my boat. It is made from sugar, therefore it is eco safe and most importantly will not eat a hole through my trailer. I simply spray it on let sit for 10 minutes then spray it off with the power washer. I only need one coat because I take my boat out of the water regularly. I tried it on a buddy’s boat that sat in the lake for 2 years, it took 2.5 coats, but still there was minimal scrubbing!

when I opened my outside water heater access panel, my water heater element and 3 plastic screw caps were sitting in the bottom. So I now know what to do with the element rod, but where do these caps go? and I assume I should replace them first, then follow your steps? I'm a first time owner and my dealership winterized this, and unscrewed these 3 caps and put the in here, so it would be good if you mentioned you may run across these, and where to check to see where they should go, and assume replace them before proceeding? I have a 2021 Vintage 19TWD.
