Seeing "ginger beer" made me go search if they still make birch beer 🤔🥲 Grandma always had it in the drink cooler when i was a kid. It still exists, but im guessing its not a market basket soda flavor anymore 🤔 This game looks interesting, just because im not seeing the triple tap setup. Makes me wana ask if they were using the analog stick for this one for swings?

I liked FE Engage. Technically an anniversary game with all of the returning characters. People that didn't like it were 3 houses fans that were disappointed 🤔 I had no idea at the time that 3 houses was so big that it created it's own fan base that never played an FE game before. Kinda like when Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengance came out in 2024. Most of the mixed reviews came from Persona 5 fans. P5 was so big that it had it's own fan base that was unaware of the general SMT franchise and Persona being a spinoff of that series originally 🥲

Messenger conversation with a buddy last night, he mentioned wanting to explore the ps2 library because he only had one to play wrestling games when they stopped coming out with wrestling games for gamecube 🤔 Replied that i mainly stopped on n64. When we went into the next generation, none of the games held my attention. They weren't bad but i might've just got too accustomed to aki's games 🤔 Times were a changing but i decided to not change with them 🤷‍♂️ Like that mods like these exist though. It's pretty cool 😎

Snes is what i grew up on, so alot of the nes stuff, i just have a hard time connecting with, outside of super mario bros 1-3 and kirbys adventure 🤔 I wish nintendo would remake zelda 1&2 in a same manner as metroid zero mission 🤷‍♂️ Thrilled to have the marvel vs capcom collection as well. Secretly wish they could've snuck in the two snes beat em up games in there but still happy with it.

Nice pickups this month 👌 Had Reynatis and the New Zelda come in this week. Reynatis getting beat up in the reviews like most FuRyu games but im liking it. Haven't started zelda yet and trying my best to avoid videos on the game from peeps im subscribed that are doing "the best way to do this" or "all bosses and ending" videos 🥴

Noticed with nook and kk slider, that animal voices are very different in this version of the game 🤔 Animal Crossing on gamecube my favorite version of the game. Liked the top down camera and the nes games were a nice perk 👌 Wild world on ds my #2 pick. My least liked AC game is the Switch one. I dont know what happened, but there was a drop in quality with the writing of your Animal neighbors. They felt like cardboard cutouts 😢 Also suffered a data corruption bug twice and the 2nd time was just too painful 😒

Neat thing with rain dance, thunder can't miss while it's raining. Also a move that can be used defensively, it'll debuff incoming fire attacks too. Saw the mareep have it at the beginning of video and needed to write nerd comment 🤓

Nice pickups dude! 🤙🏻 I agree with you on the retro thing. PS3/360 are not retro even with them being almost 20 years old now. They are the first generation of Modern gaming. I am a massive PS3 fan myself so cool grab with Street Fighter X Tekken! That Bitmap Bureau collection looks pretty sweet too. 🍻

Had custom robo when I was a teen and liked it. None of my frends wanted to play it though, so my time with it was limited. Would love for a remake or new entry. When you mentioned playing a game for two hours and not picking it back up years later, that's majority of my switch library 🫠🤭 Picked up RedOut 2 recently, physical copy but haven't played it yet 🤔 Then grabbed the shooter type game off the eShop for like 3 or 4 bucks. Have the 1st game wishlisted but nicalis never puts it on sale 😴

I'm grumpy with $60 for dkc returns HD 😒 Also grumpy with $60 for epic micky HD 💸 Juiced made me think of some news last week with tokyo extreme racer's trademark getting renewed 🚗 Still need to get bomb rush cyberfunk, almost pulled the trigger on it in the spring, switch version was on sale for like $28 but money was tight for me that week 😪

2020s me wants to write about how compressed the dialog is...but 2000s me never noticed and an n64 game with so much spoken dialog wasn't a common thing back then 👀 Just a handful of games

Quiet month for me. Link's Awakening Remake and my copy of paper mario came in the mail today. Downloaded a game called 1000xResist 🤔 Saw a random review and looked around some more and find out its known for it's good review scores but nobody's actually playing it. It's one of those artsy-fartsy games where the story is the strong point but sorta lacks in the gameplay department. Curious where the story goes 🤔

Was gonna go for a poke walk but i feel like i need to swing by my local Walmart instead to just look around 👀 Then do my walk afterwards at a park near my local Walmart 🚶‍♂️

Keep hearing genealogy of the holy war might be getting a remake 🤔 I vaguely remember donkey kong 94 having enhanced sound effects when played on super gameboy. Has a neat border as well 👌 Made a playasia order the day, dusk diver 1&2. Saw someone talk about the 2nd game as one of games on their list of underrated switch games and it looked up my alley 🎳 Didn't do too hot with reviews but still looked like something i would enjoy. Went with play-asia because they still had them in stock. Out of print naturally for switch in north America. Playstation versions of the games are alot cheaper and easier to get a hold of and im very jealous of that 😵‍💫

Put this on while playing some monster hunter stories 2. I haven't played it in 2 years and it was one of those instances where i forgot everything 🙃 How to fight, where i was, where i was going 😵‍💫 Something must've came out and distracted me but dont remember what game that was 🤔 Played the 1st banjo game but never had the opportunity to play this one. Be a neat switch online addition 👌 If i had a current xbox, Rare Replay would be a thing that would always be installed on it 🤔

Loved Fossil Fighters 🦖🥊🦕 I never played the 3rd game though...i owned it but was in a funk at the time 🤔 So never gotten around to it 🫠 Think it had driving sequences in it and i was thinking it had a diddy kong racing angle to the game.

Had no idea the football game was part of the Playgrounds series 🤔 Had fun with the 1st nba game 🏀 Edit: Have Risen for switch. Been a sucker for THQ's odd switch ports, they been fun to collect. Gotten Gothic from their online store and made a preorder for the 2nd game 🤓

PGA 2k23 was announced but never came out for switch. 2k never did an announcement of it's cancelation and i was a dope going to target and best buy looking for a copy 🥴 Was looking forward to it because they added a traditional 3 click control option for the game 👀

Have the 4th disaster report game on Switch 🤓 Picked it up at launch because it had a story behind it 🤔 Was originally supposed to be released, i think 2011...the year they had the earthquake/Tsunami. Was basically close to being finished but got shelved due to what happened 🤔 Game i haven't seen that much in the wild. Would be a perfect opportunity to put it on sale in the eShop but not sure if it gotten a sale 🤔

Just came to me now, that game i was thinking of i think is called pandemic 🥴 Think the switch version of wreckfest got the a positive video from digital foundry in terms of switch ports 🤔

Took a sec for my eyes to adjust when you switched the resolution to low 👀😅 But noticed the framerate being better afterwards. Me as a kid, left on high because expansion pak and have to use that whenever possible

Pinball games on gba are underrated

Galak-z has got lovely artwork. Really enjoyed callisto, its different enough from dead space, very melee heavy. Zombie pinball sounds class lol Nice pickups man 🙂

Might get shadow man if i see it for a good price on the eShop. Had it on the n64 back in the day and remembered it being very difficult. Secretly hoped for starforce to be included with the battle network collection but still happy with the games included. Just at the time, i saw starforce on the shelf at...im not sure if it was still babbages or if it turned into gamestoppe at the mall, but ignored it (showing my age) I recently picked up chronos: before the ashes 😅 Picked up remant for switch and youtube suggested videos of chronos and had no idea there was prequel and it seemed more interesting. Then a week or so later, youtube reccomend a video for a game called ashen and had to get that game when it was recently on sale. And i hope that's enough souls-likes for now 👀
