That set up is set up for a lot of potential problems it should be illeagle I know they do it because of bridge weight there is bridges all over the U.S. they don’t run these in all states I say B.S. it’s just putting more stress & burden on the truck driver bottom line you get a car or motorcycle in there they are screwed then what is the Truck driver supposed to do ??
I have my Dad's Alltrade 1973-G-6 6" bench grinder. It is great except the motor requires me to spin it to get it going once the power switch is turned on. I don't see a start capacitor on its exterior, so what could be the problem with its self-start? Should I just leave it be and use it as is?

If you come across a unit prior to 2001, you may find the initials RV in the control panel or the connection box.
These were great machines, better than the computerized garbage they make today. They were so good because every time you put it on a car you trued up the light beams to run true with the hubs by rotating the wheel and adjusting the three thumb screws on the projectors pivot, thus eliminating any lateral run out in mounting the equipment to the wheels.
This 4 door Chevrolet was a nice midsize family car. Looked good, rode well, nicely appointed, very comfortable cloth interior seating, dependable engine v6. Really good car. Chevys answer to Ford's Taurus.
