When was this?

@vango2adventure 😆ok makes sense. Love Port Townsend
@ right!?! Great place! Love all the parks and water!!!
I’ve got an electric one wheel too! What brand and model is that one?
It's an XR, from Future Motion. Probably from a few years ago, the guy I got it from had it sitting in his closet for a while...
No mustache?
@@aheshamsalem I broke down and got a real job 🤣 but wait till the video comes out, that will answer many more questions!
Oh no, don't do it, the moustache is magnificent!
That’s beautiful/!!
More large TH-cam channels represented in that one harbor than a lot of states. I saw at least 4 boats I recognize.
@@mcallahan9060 right!?! Such a rad event with so many awesome boats!
How bros doing that is cool

alright NEW HERE ;) well 1st time here or wuev er.... 1 does the solar run the troller motor??? 2 is there a couple little bycycle peddle thingies tied to GENERATORS for the KIDS TO SPIN CLASS and get some leg muscles in and charge up or at least RUN TORLLIN MOTOR IN EMERGENCY MODE.... ;) ??? unpausing, still pretty cool setup you got there, lookin forward to the ridealong!
@@alexmikhael5061 hey thanks for asking! So kind of... the solar charges batteries that run the trolling motor, nav lights, plot charter and inverter. It takes 1-2 days to charge for about 5 miles so I swap batteries from ones I charge on land for festivals like this (I think I went through three battery charges over the festival). When I'm on anchor over the summer it charges enough without having to swap anything out. The pedal drive is a separate system not attached to the solar or batteries. That way I can go as long as my leg muscles can handle and also have backup propulsion (pedal drive is the main source of propulsion as its range is limitless). It's basically a gear to a driveshaft to a propeller. And trying to set it up for the kids to burn off energy too but right now the seat/pedals need to be adjusted for their shorter legs. Once I get that the range will truly be limitless 🤣 might also add more solar panels next summer 🤔
cool!!! thanks for the reply! :) HAVE AN AWESOME EVERY THING !! :)

@@timaustin577 oh rad! Hey, thanks so much! 😁
I don't think the music helped
have 2 disagree :-) sorry music was great addition :-) B+ in life.
@@timaustin577 How about people who don't like that music? Turning down the volume means you might miss something
It was all original music by people at the boat festival absolutely beautiful!

It’s not fucking attached to the vessel the motor is not attached to the fucking vessel
That is true...but does it matter? I thought of tying/affixing the crate to the board but decided against it as I wanted to be able to adjust weight/balance while underway, and if something did go wrong I'd rather lose the motor/battery instead of turtling my board and not being able to right it because of the additional weight 🤷♂️
Nice setup bro looking at doing something similar any tips?
@@vango2adventureexactly 🤙. It’s like working with a skillsaw on the roof. If it’s gonna go down, let it go down.
@@jdinpt36 yeah, for sure... put the motor as far back and as central as possible... mine being in the middle was not the best option🤣

Nice job on the video as always 😁 Thank you 🙏

I luv this farmers market in port Townsend. It has the best crab crakes and pastries bar none!
Thanks for the info. Excited for mine to get here.
Nice
Very awesome footage, another awesome thing to see is how the boats get into the harbor. Being with the men and woman that put it all together, watching the harbor fill throughout the day. It's an awesome thing to be able to do. I enjoyed my time last year, can't wait to do it again next year.
Thanks so much! 🙏 You're totally right, such a cool event! Looking forward to next year already! That was a super fun one to make 😁
Man, nice work! Really captures the spirit of the day. Yeah, Travis is a machine, I was getting pretty tired after about 20 miles. Need more long paddles.

Your kids will remember how much time you spent with them feeding ducks, all the rest of their lives! Good Dad forming kids core memories.
Is this part of the Elks paddle club?
Nope, they do races outside the canal... I think lots of their members come over and paddle at the 'fake race' and there's a lot of overlap in paddlers, but it's unofficial and doesn't have any connection to the Elks..although they are a great group for sure!
@@vango2adventure I want to paddle this with all of you. I live in Kirkland and I have a really hard time trying to find training partners to go paddle with.
@@richardjohnson4696 You totally should! lots of fun and a great group of people! @@vango2adventure Paddling first thing in the morning during the summer and throughout the winter has been my happy place. To be out on the lake and nobody is around is pure bliss, though, I do sometimes get a little lonely and want to share the experience with someone else.
