After the long autumn season (this year) it feels like winter weather has definitely arrived- I’m already cold and looking forward to warmer weather coming back - LOL. Happy to hear you enjoyed your holiday as well and know your part of the country is warmer than mine! LOL

My hubby is making us chicken cobbler for our Thanksgiving meal. Yummy! Of course, I must have pumpkin pie with whipped cream for desert😁!

You are a card making magician making 6 really cute cards (instead of two)!such wonderful cards as always!!!! This year we will be enjoying both ham and turkey with all the fixings to make all the turkey lovers and non-turkey lovers happy…LOL. Of course the most important part is spending time together - once the dinner is over the games will come out and lot of fun and merriment will be enjoyed. This week we have finally enjoyed rain rain rain! I’ve never seen the weathermen so excited and happy to talk about rain. Of course it was much needed to help with all the brush fires. On a personal note the kitchen renovation continues….. they came and did the templates for the counters so all should move along pretty quickly once that is complete. Wishing you a very happy holiday season and trust you will enjoy yourself whatever you may be doing!

Our Thanksgiving is pretty traditional with Turkey, mashed potatoes and southern style green beans cooked with bacon for hours and hours. Of course dressing and pumpkin pie! I make as many Christmas cards as I can and "sell" them at church to benefit the food bank and at a ladies group I belong to to raise money for women's education.

Hi Katrin, as always you have created such an amazing cards... Also, the fact that you usually make 60-70 cards each year is astonishing achievement.. I am scared to say I make less than 15 and it takes me such a long time to do it.. I am just a SLOW crafter :)

Love the great holiday cards. You did a wonderful job combining the different paper collections. Thanks for the card with the punched squares that is another scrapbuster idea. I make about 30 holiday cards per year. I try to keep them simple but with some kind of cute or pretty embellishment or focal point.

My goodness such wonderful cards! Also love that retro card kit you showed in the beginning. All I can say is so many wonderful ideas and so little time in comparison! So happy to hear your rain has arrived, here we are still waiting for the rain to come and are experiencing many many brush fires (which is not usual to this neck of the woods)! Here the work also continues on the kitchen - getting close to completion I’m happy to say! Trust. You are doing well and getting prepared for all the holiday activities! Currently working on my holiday cards - probably will make a couple of dozen!

Good morning Katrin! I love the black background on those penguins! Of course I love each and every card you showed us, I never get tired of making those layered element, so easy and beautiful. Here in the my corner of New England the kitchen construction continues - my word so much activity happening at all the same time! Construction, gas, electricity, painters and counter templates each doing their part. My little dog just doesn’t know what to make of all the activity…LOL. I have to keep a close eye on here because I surely don’t want her stepping into any paint! What a nightmare that would be!!!! It has been unseasonable warm but today is definitely a November day! Hope you are doing well on your coast too my friend!

Hunkydory makes such great products but your creativity is so inspiring. Love how you recreated the cards with the acetate circle. You also explained it so it should be easy enough for us to also make. Thank you. I also love paper and am trying to use what I have so buying embellishments should be OK to help use that paper. Loved seeing how you reimagined the tags and came up with great ideas to make them work for you.

Wonderful video as usual. Don’t even know where to start! I love the acetate card and definitely will be trying that but was also so happy to see those tags because I think I have them in my stash too…. You know how it is - the ones that are left are just not my favorites - and yet they are too ‘nice’ to get rid of….LOL. Here the kitchen Reno is in full swing. Cabinets were delivered yesterday so now there is visual progress. I know the electricians etc work hard but as a visual tiles and cabinets are preferred….LOL. Enjoy your cooler temps and don’t forget to adjust your clocks tonight! Received my order and everything is so wonderful - loving each and every item in my package! Thank you so much!
