You need to do some research before buying a GPU independent of its just VRAM because VRAM is definitely an important factor especially when it comes to playing high graphics games and some future proofing but other factors of a GPU also do come into play such as its bus width, bandwidth, number of processors, ROPS, compute units, TMUS etc. For example, RTX 3060 12GB has more VRAM than the RTX 4060 which has just 8 GB of VRAM but still RTX 4060 outperforms the RTX 3060 because even though RTX 4060 has less VRAM, it has more cores, TMUS, ROPS, etc which makes it faster. If you want more performance, I would suggest RX 7600 XT that comes around the same price as the RTX 4060 but has 16 GB of VRAM along with relatively good number of TMUS, ROPS, Bus width, etc; which makes it significantly better than the RTX 4060 except RT but RT at this price point shouldn't be considered at all even at 1080p. However, since you asked about a 12 GB VRAM card, I must tell you that there are a plenty of 12 GB cards available from Rs. 26000 to Rs. 85000. It depends upon the price range you are looking for but the math is simple : 'more money, more performance' but not every time because most of the time AMD significantly provides better value than NVIDIA. If you want a card under Rs. 40000, RX 7600 XT is a better option except the upscaling technology that FSR doesn't perform better than Nvidia's DLSS especially at resolutions lower than 4K but if you buy a good card, you won't need FSR. It comes down to you what you prefer most. For Rs. 40000 to Rs. 70000, you can go with the RX 7800 XT or RX 7900 GRE because they beat NVIDIA cards in this price range and NEVER GO FOR the NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti because this card is a joke for the price tag it comes with. Above Rs. 70000, you can go for the RTX 4080, RTX 4080 Super or RX 7900 XT or RX 7900 XTX. Watch some youtube reviews and benchmarks before deciding. But you must keep in mind that at 4K both FSR and DLSS perform the same in most games but DLSS some times gets ahead of FSR even at 4K. But NVIDIA cards have less VRAM which makes them less future proof than AMD'S. It's a bit complicated topic and you need to do research, gain knowledge, compare benchmarks of different GPUs before making a decision. Making a choice between AMD and NVIDIA also comes down to your own personal preference because both of these cards are made for different choices. IF YOU ARE NOT TIGHT ON YOUR BUDGET, DIRECTLY GO FOR AN NVIDIA FLAGSHIP CARD and a Flagship CPU such as 7900 X3D without researching at all but wait atleast now for the upcoming NVIDIA 5000 and AMD 8000 series. But Flagship card and CPU also need a high wattage Gold certified PSU,a good motherboard, a good CPU cooler and a good cabinet with better airflow such as the GALAX REV 06 which in turns adds more cost.
