Thank you for creating and sharing such amazing Power BI interview videos.
you're a lifesaver!
Hey, is there any chance you could reshare the file for the custom visual? I have not found a good successor yet :(
I have built an organizational chart for my company with the visual Hierarchy Chart by Akvelon. Now i would like to filter for a specific team: basically, i would like (with a slicer or other solution) to start the tree at a lower point in the hierarchy.
In the desktop verson. Can i send variables from one flow to another?. And not a sub flow.
You can but you'll need a cloud flow to orchestrate sending the variable values between flows.
Hi, please the link to the consumer dataset used isnt working. Can you share a working link?
very helpful
Hello! Need help, suddenly the flow crash and I think theres something wrong in the connector (Merge PDF Adobe), and it always says: No input was provided for combining files, but I use array file and it works on the previous runs. anysuggestion? Thank you so much.
please activate the link to get dataset.
Hello Devin, is there also a flow to create in Power Automate Desktop to merge several documents with different extensions (.pdf, .doc, .txt, .tiff, .jpg) to one PDF file? So not only PDf files, but all kind of files. Hopefully you can help me with this. Looking forward to your reply. With regards. Diana
please provide dataset file. Thanks
This is awesome✨✨ A complicated concept explained in such a lucid way. Big thank you!!
Training Completed.xlsx not working
can you create a condition for the loop so it only copies data from visible cells in an excel table?
Love this video, thanks a lot.
Great video on RLS
How we can apply loop through each column ?
Fantastic video for a first time user of Power Automate. I used it directly in a project and it saved me a ton of time. Thank you for making this.
Woah!! Thank you! now i know how to pass values in both directions. Just need to remeber to make input and output values in desktop and have a little patience or refresh in cloud to have them show up as options. Sweet!
I want to use power automate desktop to fill a web page with the content of an excel table . First, I will have to match the beneficiary Id from the web and Excel tabe then take each item of the Mother DoB column of the excel table then click on update on the web page and populate. Kindly provide me with step by step guide
Nice video. Question, what are the dimensions and size of your images? Seems quite big, and I am getting blurry and cant see anything, I tried couple of ways to resize it. I am sure the size plays a huge role, is it?
At about 11min in, is there a reason that you use the OR operator for the county filter as opposed to an IN operator?
can use this visuals build custom slicer use html & CSS?
Glad that i found this video, i was stuck in a specific point where I couldn't loop my flow but Thanks your %CURRENTITEM%['name'] tip saved my flow. 👍
Awesome video, thank you very much
Thanks guys!!
Can you import topics from an excel spreadsheet?
Unforunately no. I wish!
bci calendar don't have a tooltip. how can we add report level tooltip for bci calendar
Is that work for us state and drill down for US city as drill down
I want to use input and output variables to build tiny desktop flows that can be assembled into larger flows using "Run Flow". All within Desktop Flows. I know that I can use subflows similarly to what Im describing, but subflows are not reusable outside of the flow where the sub-flow lives. I can't figure out how to pass input variables to a desktop flow, from a calling desktop flow. Am I thinking about this wrong? One example might be a tiny flow called "get logged in". It has an output variable called "WasSuccessful". That flow is not useful by itself, but is handy for living within a whole set of my larger flows.
Excellent video, well thought out and delivered thank you :)
Great info!
Can you embed a virtual agent chatbot on a native app?
How can I run/schedule this (power automate flow) flow from excel VBA? - Please advise! Thank you and appreciate it
I'm not aware of a way to run flows from Excel VBA. You would need a cloud flow to schedule these as of right now.
@@desktopdatacrunching4032 Thank you so much! - I will try cloud flow. Again, this is awesome clip - I tried and works much better. Appreciate it! have a great day!

BOOM! I just got through debugging and cleaning some of my code and I look up and see that I haven't created any input or output variables and had no clue what they were for. I created regular variables in my flow as easy as washing my hands but didn't know about this other method. This is going to be a game changer my friend! Drinks on me if you make it to Nashville!
HO LEE SH... Crap! This is a game changer! In my current setup, I get structured PDFs in my email. I save them to a synched OneDrive folder which triggers the AI I build on PA to scrape the PDF for items I need from the doc. Then it emails the values to me in an excel sheet but they are all on one row and not very user friendly to read. My next step is a PAD flow that converts the PA excel sheet into my final customer data sheet in the preferred cells before extracting the values to use to fill in a website where I enter order information into my proprietary real estate software. Using this knowledge, YOU HAVE SAVED ME QUITE A HASSLE!!! Since it's already almost 11pm, I plan to use tomorrow to set up all the new output and input variables into my existing system and give it a whirl!!! Fingers crossed!
This is awesome! Can we use VBA to execute this automation?
Thaks for the video, I would like ot ask: "can I convert many many PDFs in a folder into Words documents?"
Thanks for this Brilliant tutorial. Just a good one amongst many. Thank you
Great but what if we need to merge identical PDFs file into single pdf separately...
sound and video when not at the same time for me
I was able to achive my test just watching the video. Thank You.
This is great but..... i have a folder with 2000 pdf files and I need to merge certain files to create test packs. Several hundred test packs. Each files has a unique #3234 id number and I want to use Excel to parse the files to merge in each test pack. I've tried concatenating file addresses and when I paste this string into the merge files it works BUT when i pass it using a variable it fails. I was thinking if I get a list of ALL 2000+ files in a folder and parsing the files needed using an IF function IF the folder contain files starting with #3234,#3230"1987,#30 then merge theses files and Excel drives this IF variable using currentItem variable.
HI Nssdesigns, did you ever resolve your issue? I have a similar requirement

Thank you Devin. Can we trigger the start of the process by events like time of the day, rather than to have the user click the "Run" in Power Automate?
You can but you would have to use a cloud flow that then later runs the desktop flow to do that.
very details thank you
Sir in which software we can make flow map ?? And can we do it in excel, ms word or paints ?? Plz i need to make migration flow map..!!
Do you know how I can iterate over a list of powerpoint files that need to be converted to MP4 videos? I can retrieve the files and then place a recorded action of exporting by clicking on UI elements in a for each loop, but it always repeats the recorded action for the first file only. How can I have a recorded action apply to each file's own UI elements (file tab, export button, save button, etc.) ?
