In every line of business there are trustworthy people and not so trustworthy people. That’s why it is so important to shop around and even better when someone you trust can refer a morgage broker they have personally had a great experience with. A recommendation is to interview 3 morgage brokers and see what they have to offer and see if the morgage broker and morgage company are a right fit for you. What might fit for you, won’t necessarily fit for someone else and vice versa. Buying a home is a huge investment and doing your homework before hand can save a lot of time and money. With that being said, I’m sorry if you had a bad experience. I promise there are a lot of outstanding morgage brokers out there really working to help people with their home buying process.

Thats a great question! It really depends on the HOA regulations and how strict they are. Most HOA’s have a strict policy that there are no commercial vehicles parked within the community after business hours or on weekends. Some will allow you to park your commercial vehicle in the garage during the restricted hours and some will be ok with either fully covering your vehicle or placing plain magnets over your logos. My husband owns his own pest control company, “GOTBUGSIKILL” and we live in a community with a strict HOA policy of no commercial vehicles after 6:30p. We MUST have our magnets covering our business logos by that time or we receive a ticket. I hope info helps.

When I moved to South Florida 8 years ago I thought the beaches were the only real attraction and that it would mostly be an older population, but I have been pleasantly proven wrong. Florida is full of fun adventures with lots of nature to explore beyond the gorgeous beaches. I discovered amazing mountain biking trails all over Florida. Central and Northern Florida have really neat fresh water springs that you can snorkel, water tube, and take a refreshing swim in. There are people of all ages. Some parts of Florida have a larger population of retired people, but that is not all of Florida. Most have a mixture of all age groups.

Well then, YOU can stay home! I love my Boca relatives, vacation in Broward every December, and hope I can afford to live there someday!

Old Floresta is definitely one of my favorite neighborhoods in Boca. So much history and well preserved. Parkland is such a great place too! @@sofloliving I couldn’t buy in Old Florests but I did buy in Cypresshead which is an older community with builder acre lots and MATURE LANDSCAPING. Not as old as Old Floresta but still naturally green and beautiful I ll watch when the Parkland one comes out. I have only been here since March this year so I might learn a few things from your video

Cypress Head is gorgeous with the homes having large lots on the water and large trees. I have heard that it has a lot of activities for people of all ages. Unfortunately Cypress Head isn’t in my new video that I just posted, but I will put it on my list for a future video because it is a community worth highlighting. Thank you so much for sharing!

Very good points😁. I could see why you want to keep a good thing all to yourself 😏. Great point about new builds too. Seems that is where a lot of the focus is now a days. Both have their positive and negatives. I’m so grateful their is such a variety here in South Florida.

The sun here is definitely a plus! I’m originally from Washington State and even though I miss the mountains sometimes, the sun, beach and warm ocean water gives me a smile everyday. As far as the cost of living goes, the South Florida Real Estate Market has increased in value considerably. One thing I can say for sure is that Florida does not have state income tax, as Oregon does. In general. Florida is a tax friendly state. I am so glad you mentioned Hallandale Beach! It’s on my list to explore more, especially the Oleta River State Park. I just recently realized they have a mountain bike trail that has really positive reviews. My husband and I enjoy mountain biking in Florida. There are also excellent places for canoe and kayak adventures. Thank you for sharing!

Great idea! Thank you for the suggestion. There are a lot of 55+ age restricted communities in Boca Raton and South Florida. I agree it would be an important topic to share.
