The penultimate version of The Chorale... that's saying a lot. There are so many versions of KCC /Bruffy conducting, but this piece: balanced and pristine, beautiful in ways only God can utter.

Love them both. I think Heinlein had a "space" verse "for those in peril" in one of his books. THe Battle Hymn of the Republic chokes me a little and I'm British. Dixie is a jolly tune, but there is simply no comparison.

Austin Organ built outdoors in 1914. Whichever way the wind blows changes the tuning.

The Navy Hymn has got to be their most repeated piece, can probably sing in their sleep.

this tune (specifically the first verse) is sung during graduation for new Sailors at their Pass-In Review. When I graduated I got teary eyed cause i remember my father sending me the letters during boot camp with these lyrics.
