Solo camping at Eston Valley adventures. This became a special camp as I was getting away from the city buz for one night and got to see the hippos for the first time at this campsite. Another nice thing is a total disconnect from network. The outside world will miss you during camp there.

Alongside N4 between Mpumalanga and Pretoria is a nice filling station with an African vibe. Safe to say this is indeed my favorite spot. Even if I need not to stop but I do. First place where I saw overlanders with funny cars. I looked it up and I did it.

Despite the busy road. Nothing will stop me from taking a moment and slow things down on the side of the road especially for sunset and sunrise. This spot is located on R603 just outside Umbumbulu and just before you get to Estone. Those who are familiar with that route. It's on the misty part at night and on the top of the hill next to a tower.
