As it happened, the driver moved their car before the tow truck was called, but they did get a parking fine because I had given the police their registration number when I reported the obstruction.

If you lift up the car you can replace the bulb. No need to take of the wheels or battery unless you got bigger than 17" wheels.

Thanks for the video, saved a lot of time. In my case the rear and left hand clips were solid (13 years old and still on its original battery!). I needed to get a long flat headed screwdriver in and angled towards the battery casing to free off and release. Also, don't forget to reattach the wiring loom clip to the right hand side of the casing when everything's fastened back down.

If it's a dropped kerb it's illegal to park across it and you have the right to have the offending vehicle towed and sue its owner for the cost. N-power employees appear as belligerent as their company.

Thanks very much, I have a Peugeot 108 but it's basically the same car. You have saved me at least £50 which is a great bonus in these troubled times. One thing I would suggest is doing a 'trial run' before you buy a new battery, make sure the terminal and clamp nuts have not seized up so hard that they can't be removed.
