what race is this? where?
UTMBT Transvulcania in La Palma, Spain. This was the hill climb challenge a day before the main race though.
Great video. Love your determination to do what needs to be done. Wish you the best!
I appreciate it!
You are such an inspiration. I have no words to describe how your experience has impacted my life. Thank you so much for everything. God bless you always 🤲🏻🧡🤲🏻
Thanks so much for coming out to the show! It was awesome to meet you in person!
@@Nick.Pelletier thank YOU, Nick. It was an honor to meet you!
Farm cart is amazeballs! Pretty cool hairdo too!
Farm cart is the GOAT
What an amazing adventure. You truly are a wonderful, young man. I enjoyed your travel from Cabo to Cancun documentary. This one was equally entertaining and full of adventure. Well done.
I appreciate the support, glad you enjoyed!
Absolute beast!
I appreciate it!
COMPLETELY RUIONED BY THE MUSIC, It wa so annoyoing I couldn't wartch more than 5 minutes
Then don’t watch, cycle it yourself and make your own video
Hi Nick great to see you’re back on the road again with old faithful.
Thanks for following along!
🔥🔥🔥 weooooooo!!
🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Brought back the outro 🫡

Love your stuff! I can watch it with my kids...thanks for keeping it family-friendly. With my career and other responsibilities, life gets full. Your videos encourage me to get the ole bike off the wall and give 'er heck. Thank you!
You know it! Awesome you can find time to get out there when it works💪🏼
Pretty smooth biking on highway 97? Not much draft from trucks along side? How’s west side road at night? Great job!!
You get a bit of a push/pull from them on the highway, but the shoulder is big enough to stay to yourself, just have to watch for debris. Westside Road might actually be safer at night, if you have a good light. Less traffic than if you were to ride it during the day, just watch for potholes here and there.
Right on! Well done! Your inspiring me bro planning an early morning ride going to extend it cause of you!
Right on, you got it!
Absolute LEGEND!!!
🤘🏼🫡
Where is Okanagan Lake?
British Columbia, Canada
@@Nick.Pelletier cool!
Buenos dias Nick! I just watched your amazing video of your EPIC adventure. I am a Canadian who lives in Cozumel, Mexico. First of all, I get the flat tires. In three years of road biking with our triathlon team, 88 flat tires. Yup. Kevlar doesn't even help. And, those Gatorskins are a bitch. I have traveled to the Baja for duathlon races, specifically La Paz, BCS. We always take a road trip down to Cabo midway through the week, as we have a full on bike race on the weekend after the duathlon. There are many amazing bike groups in Mexico. We have also raced in other parts of Mexico, including places you went through. Guanajuato (Wan a wato), Oaxaca (O ha ka), Michocan (Mee show can), Jalisco (Ya lis co), Yucatan, specifically Cancun, Merida and Izamal. The climbs in Guanajuato were exceptional and the downhills, super scary. I am amazed at how you completed this adventure, travelling through some of the "dangerous" parts of Mexico. The people of Mexico, are kind and generous. They remind me of Canadians. Always willing to help. I can hardly wait to see where your next adventure takes you. Buen suarte, VAMOS!
Thanks for reaching out! I had an amazing trip, and the people I met along the way made the trip 100x better! I appreciate the support!
congrats . ticker tire bike . may be better ?
Kinda hard to believe both bike shops didn’t even offer you some used parts (have to assume you couldn’t afford replacement parts?) to make it safely down the road. Pathetically bad customer service!
That was quite a challenge with those waves... I wonder what's the maximum speed that the Mule could reach in better conditions (no wind, still water), have you ever had a chance to measure that?
No not really! I’ve taken it on multiple other trips, but conditions always have wind or waves it seems!
Reminds me of the first time I biked across. Couple of points: bicycles are never allowed on US Interstate highways except in some very rare places where there are no alternative routes, the only one I can think of might be a 50 mile stretch where I10 crosses a literal sand dune desert in the SW. Also, when touring (ie. Heavy), rear wheel spoke breakage is so common, I always bring a freewheel remover, spare spokes, and spoke tool on any tour over 500 miles. Sometimes you can implement a fast temporary fix with just a spoke tool, but you create more work for yourself later that way.
Hello Nick. Obviously a brave young man. Your almost there.
hola!! DO YOU USE TALL ROAD$$ ?......FEDERAL ROAD no cost!!
He definitely seems like the kind of guy to say, “Thats righteous yo!” Great job dude, you’re the kind of person who inspires to me to keep my old bike and ride as far as I can with it
Right on🤘🏼
This is to live life!
Loved checking this out. I would seriously get Tubeless with Slime in them. We run those in Africa. Would also recommend a Rohloff rear hub for bike trekking. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for the tips!
Super super cool! Great job!!
Good stuff
I admire the guy's optimism.
That was a scary view! Was.....a dream of mine to do cross country on bike? Not anymore after watching this SLOG! Holy crap you are way lucky you are not a satatistic! Or worse worm meat. Looked pretty dumb to me.
You sound like a pussy

What a bada$$
I have driven across the country in 3 days. It's mind boggling to bike it. Unreal.
Awesome video man! You have an incredible amount of determination and drive. I would definitely recommend Schwable Marathon Plus Tour for your next adventure. They are reasonably priced (cheaper than constantly buying tubes), last for thousands of miles and are the closest thing to flat proof as possible. My set cost me $80 and after 1,000 miles on my bike they look new, and have had zero flats. Good luck on your next adventure!
Appreciate it!
Awesome video my fellow Canadian! Subbed.
Happy Birthday Nick! Greetings from Mexico!
Great adventure vid. But I just don't understand why vloggers (and directors in general) feel such a need to raise and lower volume dramatically. It makes it very difficult for me and my hamster to watch movies together...
This video needs more likes
Lovely journey and movie 😀👍💥💫👋👌✌👏
Thanks!

I just did my first ever over night bike camp trip, and I'm smoked! I have mad respect for the 71.5 miles per day that you rode for 50 days to pull this off! As hard as running a marathon every day, given that you must have been in the saddle for over 5 hours every day! RESPECT!!!
Thanks, I appreciate that!
As a biker, triathlete, and a father of 2 endurance sports boys, I highly recommend this video! Great job Nick ! And kudo's to Dad for the inspiration, and any members of your fam/ road crew. Well done !
Thanks for that, I appreciate the support!

Was it supposed to be erupting or did that happen coincidentally
It erupts periodically, but that was coincidentally the biggest one of the day
You took this video? Dope.
Yeah, just earlier today!
Wow!
