The Mark Twain Prize for American Humor recognizes individuals who have had an impact on American society in ways similar to the distinguished 19th-century novelist and essayist Samuel Clemens, best known as Mark Twain. The Clips are not included because TH-cam has a copyright stick up their ass and they would pull it because their bots have no power of reasoning and cannot discern the Kennedy center honors paid for every clip to every studio that was necessary to show this to their audience they probably posted it any number of times with the clips in there and it got taken down because that's how TH-cam rolls....

Not showing the clips for whatever reason makes watching this video a waste cause every person who comes on wants to drill the fact about why the honor should go to whoever the recipient is ,so for much younger people who were to for some reason just not as lucky as me who followed Eddie’s humor with rabid fascination. Personally , I believe the decision not to show the clips was simply put , dumb and they should not show this award show . I believe it was because of the language but mostly because of skin color. See exactly how biased whites are, hypocrites who say this but do that , shameless. What George Carlin said was right , build more prisons yes but not in my backyard.

As much as I love Eddie Murphy lets face it. This award is worth absolutely nothing. If it had been given to him, Richard Pryor, Chapelle, George Carlin, Cosby, Jim Carrey and a few other legends it would be worth something. But JAY LENO won it before Eddie Murphy. JAY Freaking LENO How on Earth is Jay Leno funny? Is it his chin? The way he dresses? The size of his head? Ellen DeGeneres won the award before Eddie Murphy. She is not even a comedian. I hope she isn't. Lily Tomlin and Whoopi Goldberg won it too before Eddie freaking Murphy. I like them and they sure are funny, but to put those people in the same category as Eddie is like giving the same acting award to Silvester Stallone and to DeNiro. But worst still, giving it to Stallone first. You can't do it.
