A pact was signed between US, UK and USSR in regards to Eastern Europe at Yalta in 1945, any explanation of how much US fought and opposed the USSR interference in Romania was just a a bon cop, bad cop political gas light to wash their hands. Romania didn't have a Marshall plan but a Stalin plan, where Romania paid $5.6 million as war reparations to USSR and US and coerced to pay $2 billion through SovROM to USSR. Entire factories were disassembled and transported to USSR. If you think history would give humanity a lesson, look what is happening today, genocide in Palestine, Lebanon and Syria, the war in Ukraine with millions of deaths and Europe, US pushing for more war. An you call that western democracy? It's world domination, it always was about that at any point in human history.
