I had this weird awakining last night! I was jamming on Lionel songs’ last night. Suddenly after the solo I realised it is the same place with still gor the blues, and same melody, same wordinng with the b2. And I wondered if anyone discovered that before, and found your video. Amazing mix by the way. The resemblance is uncanny. I’ll never say Gary stole it. We can say may be he is “heavily influenced” or “subconsiously influenced” by Lionel. They are both great legends. This reminds me of “bird of paradise” and “brothers in arms” Knopfler is the greatest but, everyone may have some inspiration from others.😜

The words were going through my head along with the music, but I couldn't remember the title. So I googled the words. Haha, yeah, both great songs, but definitely that entire riff is a spin off.

I recently discovered 'i still got the blues' i know i'm very late but the minute i heard it i stared singing 'hello' along wih the music. i'm glad i'm not the only one who found a link between those two songs. Great job on the video!👍
